moved thread to the ICECRYPT forum (again)

please use this ICECRYPT forum for any questions about ICECRYPT receivers , thank you

this NAR problem is common to many boxes and is turned off in your audio options , check your manual for the details (if any) on how to change your audio settings

My apologies, I considered the question related more to a problem with a HD program rather than a specific receiver problem.

nope , nothing to do with the channels themselves

they broadcast various information including the NAR option for the disabled people (probably due to laws like the EA2010) and its down to you the owner to alter your box to suit what you do (or dont) wish to implement

so its user error because the user has not set the box up to use (or not use) the NAR

ITS ACTUALLY SOMETHING THAT ANY BOX USER OF ANY MAKE AND MODEL HAS TO SET UP THEMSELVES

I have had to alter this on many , many boxes over the years and the popular boxes like the VU and DREAMBOX etc have tutorials in their own forums in sticky threads that explain how to do this

like this one in post #16 2 years ago for the VU

https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?133588-Dummies-guide-to-setting-up-Vu-Duo

and this one

https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?174196-talking-behind-programs

for bespoke boxes like yours, its probably in the manual , hence the reply in post #3 about using the yellow button ?

as in this ICECRYPT post on this very forum

https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?174983-How-doyou-Disable-Audio-Description

and also this one too

https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?170341-audio-description

on some boxes you cycle through the audio options using one of the buttons, repeating for each channel that contains NAR (NARrative)
