The HTTP section now lists the following updates: HitechBox _2.2.21_2017.05.03.bin and IPBOX_2017.05.03.bin

The latter is the first of its kind I've seen. Could it be specifically for IP issues? Pity we don't have blackdevil's
guidelines on this.

Hi, Not much information available. I believe the ipBox update is for IP issues of HitechBox. Regards

Correction. Disregard my vague assumption of IPbox update in my earlier post please. Answer from the Guru in other forum is as under:

"sw IPBOX -> Do Not use it for your boxes, this sw is for other customers

Mscamd users : sw 2.2.08

IKS users : sw 2.2.22
In these latest sw we added a new protocol and we are improving it, it will be for renewing your codes".

Meanwhile a new update --2.2.23-- has been added to the HTTP section.

And, apart from New protocol in latest sw 2.2.23:

IKS NEW service,

there also seem to be options for:

gscamsd service
Mscamd service
superIKS service


But no further info so far...

Downloaded and installed 2.2.23 but haven't been able to activate the IKS NEW Service that is offered. What the "new and improved" IKS service is designed to improve is not clear. The Unit still functions well with "standard" IKS. though.

I was able to download 2.2.23 as an upgrade from 2.2.22, where Superiks has been functioning fine.

However I find I can't load the NEW IKS service, despite appearances ("IKS NEW active success,please wait 5 seconds").

I was able to return to Superiks, although I would like to install the new version.

Any advice?

Hi Aldo there has been another update last night 2.2.24 for IKS no info on what has been updated.

Hi, Some new information from the other forum.

"IKS NEW is different service than SuperIKS so it means different code needed".

Thanks for the heads up, as I have not yet done the update, could you please tell me if there is any info on the New Code required for Super IKS. ???

So how does one get the new code required, and how much would it cost, or will that info be made available via the new firmware update.

That was my query, and then I tought that there maybe some info ref the new codes in the first film on the new firware where there was info ref members requiring info on renewing their 12 month renewals.

The answer to that query was posted by blackdevil and is as follows:

You can watch last channel in IPTV Bonus, the HitechBox Info channel, you will get the email, you can send message so they can inform you how you can get code.

there was also another query answered:

HitechShqiptv sw is for our box but for customers for IPTV and Albanian channels.

Aldo reference the last channel in IPTV Hitechbox Info. it seems this is now blank I have tried several times recently to see if the information is back ( I wish now I had wrote the information down on a piece of paper) I have only a few days left on my MScam. I might consider IKS for the future now that both MScam and IKS updates are available.

Have you tried to go back to one of the older firwares, and see if you can get the info that you require, and once you have it you could just then do the HTTP update to bring your receiver back up to date, and why did you not copy paste the info onto notepad/wordpad, name it whatever and store it in my do***ents.

Aldo it was working with the latest sw 2.2.08 because I always check all the apps to see if they are working and I checked Hitechbox info, have to say I did not expect it not to work being in the servers interest for members to renew. Noticed also since the weekend one of the ***** sites ****tube which was working okay is now causing the receiver to reboot which make me wonder if there is a server issue. Hopefully a new update will correct in the future.

mrfire Hitechbox info is there in IPTV last channel, but when I click on to open it nothing happens just blank screen.

By the way, regarding the info "channel", it was black, not opening last night.

Just checked and the info channel (all 1 minute 42 seconds I think) is there and working.

Using 2.2.1.4 firmware.

With the 2.2.08 FW,

Although I had upgraded to 2.22... but downgraded back to 2.2.08 a few days ago.

Last night I checked, can now confirm Hitetech Box info. is now working again on 2.2.08 Firmware.

I have just seen the following info on the other forum:

The HTTP section now lists an update - 2.2.26 Golden

I do not know what it contains, as I have not had time to try it yet.

(2.2.26): Golden IPTV is an IPTV service separate than satellite part which includes Mscamd - IKS - IKS NEW services.
Different services. You can choose one or other or all.
It is user's choice.
Probably you have to re-enter your mscamd code.


(1.2.08): Spanish, French and nd*s channels have made some changes in their encryption system that's why there are problems. Same situation to IKS
sw 2.2.08 is good with Mscamd and nd*s channels.

I hope this helps/clarifies a bit.
