7w what are you picking up?

Just sent up my 1.3m x 1.25m dish on 7w and only getting some 600+ channels and I use to get well over 700. There does not seem to be much to watch on these sats any more. Currenty got onsportshd with 47% signal and I am way up north in wakefield west yorkshire. What you all getting?

I too used to get over 800 channels on this sat with my 1.1 Triax in SE UK.
Now, I get just under 700.

Dubai Racing 1 HD, YAS and Abu Dhabi sports 1 and 2 HD are the best channels for me here.

Hi In London we also get around 700 channels but some channels are from 8west as well. The reason you dont get as many channels as before is because the signal strength across UK/Europe has been decreased due to stopping access to live Premier league football from what i heard...regards

Is anyone getting the signal from the transponders with the Bein Sports channels on them and can anyone open them ?

I get a strong signal all the time but cannot open them apart from the 2 FTA Bein Sport channels.

Yes, I can receive them but they won't clear as I believe they are paired with specific boxes.

Hi I suspect your dish/LNB may not be setup correctly. Its impossible with a 1mtr dish you dont pick up anything. If you have a motor using USALS then goto 5 west and make sure you pick up channels from this satellite and then goto to 7west and try a blind scan and see what you pick up. Regards

Well I'm not surprised cloverleaf cannot get anything on 7W with a 1m dish. He is well outside the footprints on all three beams. The further north you go the signal will become progressively weaker.

I had one with an official box. THE best sports provider there is. And still is if you can pick up 25.5e. There are still a few channels left at 7w but not enough to bother getting a sub. Also there is no telling how long it will be there for. When they moved the ENG language channels information was sketchy to say the least. The bitrate must be high as the HD channels where way better than sky/BT's compressed garbage they sell as HD.
