Hi Guys.
has anyone updated a VU box with kodi 17?
i have been looking into it, it seems to be a lot of copy and paste.

and im guessing install with telenet?

i am just wondering if anyone has upgraded and if there is a link or something that can be downloaded?

I'm using latest openvix on my solo2 and 17.1 is in the plugins.

Most open source images, including Open Blackhole 1.0, already has Kodi 17.1, so I assume you mean Blackhole 3.0.3I, which still has the older Kodi 16.1, because it is based on the vuplus original image, and vuplus haven't bothered to update it.
I have read of a few, that have done it, on the 4K models, it would probably be easier just to try Open Blackhole, or other image.

If it is not yet in your feeds and you are running a qualifying image on a compatible box then do a system update if image not too old or telnet in and invoke an opkg update. If all else fails flash a current image from your favourite dev team.

yes you are correct it is blackhole 3.0.3i,
I am guessing that blackhole 1.0 is an older image, would i loose much by downgrading to an earlier image?
is blackhole 1.0 for solo 4k? i will check it out.

Open Blackhole is different from Blackhole, hence the two versions, the latest Open Blackhole is 1.0xx whereas the latest Blackhole is 3.0.3I.
Open Blackhole is available, for all VU+ receivers.

I have solo2 open vix 5.0 running kodi 17.3 and wookie installed runs very smooth
