is it possible to swap codes with spiderbox

after activating my mscam code i found out my satellite tuner is kaput.

can i transfer code to a spiderbox?why not try it but i think not i have tried from 1 sbox 6000 to another with no joy i would disconnect from the kaput receiver first before entering the code to good 1

My understanding is that your mscamd code is registered to the mac address of your Spiderbox. So it can't then be used on another receiver.
