Kodi Problem Installing On Windows 7 ? help

installed kodi on my laptop everytime i go to open it all i get is the krypton 17.3 screen then it goes blank
tried all fixes on google about deleting file from appdata but dosent work.
be obliged if anyone else has this problem or any ideas how to fix.

laptop samsung r20 intel core2 duo 1.73ghz
4 gig of ram
ati radeon graphics.
160gb hard drive.

Right click on the installer and run it in XP compatibility mode, And that works'

download complete complete kodi set up wizard and try installing it with that
