Reflashed - can't connect wirelessly

Blackhole 3.0.3.A
Have done boxes for mates, and reflashed mine a few times. Never had a problem. Poor dog is scared witless with my ranting.

Going through WLAN and inputting details, getting connected to internet OK message. Going through Network Test and all green ticks. Try then to connect via VUCC or through Black Hole Addons Plugins, stating connection failed. It's also not allowing me to change WLAN settings and defaulting to LAN, so having to reflash to change network settings. Have rebooted modem and can connect to the modem on other devices.

Below are my settings:

Use Device: yes
Use DHCP: yes
Use Manual dns nameserver: no
Hidden Network: no
SSID: <my network ID>
Encrypt Method: WPA/WPA2
KEY: <my network password>

I've also tried WPA and WPA2 and WEP as encryption methods

If you want to use WLAN make sure you enter your SSID & WEP/WPA settings before you try to connect. Do not browse Wireless networks because it doesn't work until these details have been entered. No idea why this is now the case but seems to be a recent new feature.

Not getting any joy, even with your help. Connection via network cable, everything working OK. Not practical though as modem is in a different room, and cable going over wooden floor. Going to try using older Blackhole image.

2.1.6 not even picking up my wi-fi connection, although 3.0.3.A does.

Gave up - installed Openvix 5.0.025 and all working OK. Sad to go from Blackhole, but found it impossible to connect wirelessly.
