hi all not used my gica 582 for a few months now, but have just updated box to 5.1
I want to install kodi krypton 17.3, having googled I find there is a 32bit apk a x86 apk and a 64 bit apk vertion for android

which is the correct one for my gica 582?

do I need to install 17.1 first or can I just jump to 17.3 fresh install?

box is about a year old I think I have the older slim remote, not sure what android devices I can use with my gica ,would this be android phone/ tablet

thank you

Download kodi 17.3 krypton from official website
32 bit apk
This is what I use on my own or any other mygica 582 I upgrade
You can download direct from box
Or like myself download from website on laptop...then put the file on USB stick
Insert USB into box..go to apps..then appinstaller...select USB. .click on your file
Job done...you now have kodi 17.3 krypton installed

I went thru the procedure in updating from 582 to LOlipop and put ares wizard on,the question I would like to ask is what do I do now,do I leave all as is, or do I update or does the ares wizard update ie other programes/addons,I would leave well enough alone for the viewing from the ares addons is magic, which I must thank EXTRAFACTO for all the help he generously provided that made my MyGiccacome alive again when I thought all was lost, regards McG

if you have the ares wizard installed...you have few things you can do
select a build from build section in ares..or individually install from addon section..stuff you want
ie exodus etc
a build will install such things for you..in one go..but it may put addons on you do not require personally
loading yourself individually will only load apps you ask for
if you already have stuff installed..ie a build...and you are happy with it
just enjoy...apps usually update themselves..or you may get a pop up saying a certain app has an update..do you want install..yes or no...click yes..and it will update
if you are getting nagged by kodi about you running 17.3 and 17.4 is out
its your choice to install or not..but if you install 17.4 you will need to reinstall ares wizard
so my advice..if 17.3 is giving you what you need..leave it alone..just ignore untill your stuff stops playing
then install 17.4
hope this helps
