Is it possible to get 1080p output from this seems to be fixed on 570i I think it is, had a 5402 early and no problems.
Picture very grainy on M3.
Cheers.

No does not work it is fixed on 570i and skips it when you scroll down so it cannot be changed.

Its possible your TV perhaps does not even support 1080i or 720p
i have no idea where your getting 570i from ??
are you using Scart or HDMI ??
options i have in Video Format is AUTO , 576i , 576p , 720p , 1080i , 1080p
Your TM5402 M3 box must be different than any TM5402 M3 Box i have ever worked with :king-041:

Ditto Barney!!
Maybe it IS his TV itself which isn't HD?

Guys my TV is 1080 full HD but the 5402 M3 will not allow a change of resolution I am as baffled as everyone but it will not even stop at resolution,
I previously had a std 5402 HD and had no problems changing the resolution on that using the same TV.Using latest patched software.:-S

All I can suggest is that you back up channel list fred, factory reset - and reload patch/ Channel List, because my M3 sets/loads 1080P with no problem mate - plus if the 'source' video is 1080P, my impression was that even on 'Auto' it should still show in 1080P!

Hi Guyz
Finally got it sorted problem was RGB was set for scart and changing this to composite allowed me to change resolution.
relieved to see a 1080P picture again!!
