Mecool KIII Pro DVB-T2/S S2 IPTV

Hi All,

Anyone bought or tested this box.
Its an Andriod, Mecool KIII T2/S2 TV Box
with IPTV (2017).

It has Kodi under the name ( TV Center )
Its 4k HDMI 2.0a Supports HDR10/HLG.

Advanced users can access
CCcam, Biss, and PowerVU settings
by, Menu, Installation, and
DVB/S/S2.
Enter (111111) to access smart
data manager menu.

It has over the air support so it
must had an HDMI 2.0b software
upgrade ready for HLG HDR.

Hi All,

Doe's anyone have an LG UHD TV with
Dolby Vision, if you have can you advice's
me what setting should I use with this
box (Mecool KIII pro), or MBOX.

In (Display)--Dolby Vision, it is asking,
Dolby Vision follow sink, and,
Dolby Vision follow source.

Sorry cannot help with Dolby. Did have loan of my friends unit for six days. it was OK to use but the handling of SD and HD channels, picture wise, was not good. Satellite pictures from my LG 850 4K satellite capable tv were much better, however the 4K picture from the SES channels on both tv and Mecool KIII were equally good. That was confusing?

Hi All.

Allchemist, Can you test out 30w
with your LG UHD TV (Hopping its
Dolby Vision enabled)
On Hispasat 30w there is a
(Dolby Vision demo) Spanish type
trooping the Colour demo.
If it lights up your HDR D/Vision Icon
can you tell me if the picture content
has a magenta Hue.

Next channel to that Has a (HEVC demo)
Doe's the light up your HDR Icon.

On 19e SES had a 4k HDR demo, not
sure what HDR but it lights up my HDR Icon.
I have HDR10 loaded, so think that's what it is.
On my TV 65XT910 Hisense when I pick up
an HDR broadcast it say's
(Use this HRD setting for best Picture Quality).
