Smart TV update for Firestick?

hi guys,
i noticed this morning there was an option for Smart TV update for Firestick?
I wasn't sure if i should select the update or not, i declined it and it has not given me the option since.
Has anyone else seen this or selected the update, just afraid of doing the wrong thing and losing my iptv channel list or something?

I think it was for Smart IPTV. If you use that app, then update it.

Various bug fixes and improvements
You can decrease the Buffer size in app's settings to increase channel zapping speed.

If you experience issues after updating the app, try removing/reinstalling the app from the apps store.

cheers chasqui, i was just afraid i would lose my channel list when updating
the message has not appeared since, can it be done manually?

yes. go to the siptv.eu site click on instructions then click on android...
the download link is on the right of the page.
I personally download it to my google drive so I can then install from there on any of my boxes.
When you try to install, it prompts you as to whether its a new install or upgrade. Choose upgrade and you won't lose your channel list
