has mscam server been down? gift expired ? had to install new hitech

hi all old box ceased to open any channels not sure if server was down or if my gift had finally expired as I had lost receipt of when purchased

I bought a new hitech 9000 from gw in October and have just installed patch /10 digit code etc tonight.

but a lot of faffing about to get box to save the code in the end got (success message) and channels have cleared

readind another thread re stable firmware vertion it mentions not inputting code via remote but keyboard of receiver.

completely lost on how that is done

As some members having problem with mscamd channels could any anybody please confirm if mscamd still working or its down as Rugrat23 stated in post 1. Regards

its working for me on new box but a bit erratic, nothing clearing on old box, so in my case gift must have expired

there did appear to be a server problem on Tuesday, but it seems to be OK now.
