9000 hd will not fire up

can any one help?
i have upgraded to latest firmware which went on fine but did not see any thing different so did a factory reset and then loaded the 30/01 patch on . that is when my box would not come on..
it just sits there with the green light on. , no messages at all. tried the force boot usb method but can not get past the green light stage.
any ideas?

Hi, mine has done the same thing. I put the latest patch on 08/02 noticed no difference then put the 30/01 patch back on, it went ok rebooted but know just sits with green light on and won’t come on.

do they have an rs323 program for this box?

i have just tried this method which i recieved from another source and it is now working.
dont forget to hold the front buttons as mentioned.

Rename one software as force_upgrade_rom and then put it to a usb stick. Do not put it in any folder. then insert usb stick to box. keep the 2 buttons in front of box pressed, turn on the box from the main . leave the buttons when procedure starts.

thanks for posting instructions. I've tried it and i just get open file fail ! message I've tried two usb sticks and two different firmware.

Which firmware did you use?

its updating now, re-formatted usb stick and tried it..thanks for the instructions.

remember to rename the software and remove the usb before it reboots.
