CCCam on HD6000

Hi all, and thanks for your help. How do I get into the menu to manually enter CCCam lines? Is a patch necessary?

If the patch is needed, where would I get the most recent? i don;t remember patching my old HD9000, but maybe I did.

patch files are in our spiderbox files section, although they will be old now as there havent been any new patches in some time

the tutorials are in the sticky threads in this 6000 forum, so top of this forum, PLUS also there are tutorials in the spiderbox GUIDES & FAQ section too

the old 9000 had loads of patches for it, same as this 6000 has

with the 6000 , the latest are either IKS or mscam patches, as required, it will need patching if you want access to the menu for cccam and newcamd

Great, thanks echelon. I'd seen the tutorial but couldn't work out whether the patch for necessary for the functionality. I'll go grab. :)

AFAIK, all of the patches have cccam embedded , probably never changed

Hi..The 6000 has diferent patches depending whether you are using IKS or Mscam..Cccam can be used in either as its format is totally different to the other two. In theory you could use IKS and Cccam together and Mscam and CCcam together. You cannot use IKS and Mscam together. The Cccam menu is found in the Server settings option in network menu. Cccam can be entered manually or via USB. Regards
