Credential Sharing??

Does anyone know about credential sharing? I think this is what it is called. I'm not looking for accounts etc, I have a few friends that have started buying things like SkyGo and NowTV accounts on the cheap, some work and some don't (no surprise there) and just wanted to know how they work, are they legit, are they part of these account generator scams you see etc. I have heard too many people have bad experiences to take the risk myself but just thought I'd try and educate myself a bot so I can maybe educate others.

At the moment there is a Crimbo Promotion 2 months for the price of 1 with NowTV
Just €15 for 2 months Cinema or Entertainment or kids or Sport
this is perfectly Legit and Legal .

if you know people selling for cheaper , then you know someone that is doing an illegal activity and of course they should be reported
and dealt with by police .
SkyGo is €6 extra a month on top of a valid sky sub ,
again if you know someone that is doing an illegal activity and selling Sky GO cheaper of course they should be reported
and dealt with by police .

That will answer all your questions i assume ??

You all make very good points - if it sounds too good then it probably is too good. I wonder if it will increase in popularity with people willing to take the risk and get maybe 3 months from a supposed 12 month deal, like many people do with dodgy CS/Streams.
I'll stick to my full Sky sub, I don't have the guts to risk losing the kids channels - they'll kill me!!
