Android TT Go issue

After working fine for at least 2 years I am now finding that android TT GO fails to display the main menu where you find, amongst many other things, 'About' TT map version, settings (colour, voices, etc) is now missing!
The app worked fine for last auto map update, but have now lost all this vital settings info altogether!
I checked on net, where it was suggested it MIGHT be to do with an update from android 8 to version 9 - my Samsung S8+ is now on version 9.0!
It was also said that a new TT apk patch may be necessary.
Can anyone please help?

Well thanks for that, but still asking the TomTom experts on here if they could possible provide me with the patch I believe I may need to continue via android version 9 please?

Thanks Dean, still working on ways of obtaining patched apk for android 9.0!!

Despite Dean's valiant attempts to help - thanks so much mate - I still have no patched apk with which to sort out my TT GO android issue as outlined in post #1!
Anybody else having similar issues?

Still not been able to get my Galaxy S8+ TT GO to show menu correctly - and therefore unable to download latest version map either!
Actually I can't even display map version I'm currently on!
Ironically my friends S8 is fine with full menu still there plus updates latest maps fine, but is showing only 50 'credits' outstanding instead of lifetime or 2021 etc!

Cheers Paul, yes but where have you found latest patched version please? maybe a PM if possible?
PS: I have downloaded supposedly latest versions without success as no apk was present, but if you've actually got it up & running then very interested!!

Finding current android TT Go no longer updating maps, so does anyone have a new patch to enable this please?

Mine updated OK but had to go back into settings and repoint it at UK & Ireland map as it initially appeared blank after update.

I'm currently on version 1035.9663 (UK & ROI) - maybe that's why nothing happening, as maybe already on latest version?

Nope - just found out that latest version is 1040, so mine is no longer updating itself for some reason!
Certainly not updating when I try your way mate!

So can only hope someone can come up with a new patch to add to APK asap please?
