A highly personal list of satellites that I regularly monitor for various sports. Given your location and
equipment your mileage may vary, although most should be able to open these satellites from the UK area. Logically
some satellites will be preferred over others according to your system’s ability to open channels. Many of these channels
will not have English audio, a reality most will already have come to terms with, one way or another.

Feel free to add other satellites that work for you:

BulagariaSat-1 (1.9º East) Arena Sport 1-5

Eutelsat 9 (9º0 East) AFN Sports 1-2 (PowerVu)

Hotbird (13º East) Eurosport 1-2, DAZN 1-2 (Italy), Eleven Sports 1-4 (Poland)
Nova Sports 1-3, 5

Astra 1 (19º.2 East) Movistar (many channels including Liga de Campeones, 1-8)
DAZN 1-2 (Germany)

Astra 3 (23.5º East) Fox Sports 1-5, Ziggo Sport (6 channels, various sports)

Hellas Sat (39.0º East) Diema Sport 1-2, Nova Sports 1-2

Telstar 12 (15ºWest) ESPN, ESPN 2 (BISS)

Hispasat 30º West) Sport TV 1-5, Eleven Sports 1-6 (Portugal)

Since Movistar lost the retransmission rights to the Premier League (and the Champions League too, I believe)) Astra 1 has lost a good bit of its lustre.
However, other satellites are taking up the slack, particularly using cccam. Hispasat (30ºWest) offers a great deal in the way of sports, as does Intelsat 10-02/Thor 5-7, at
0.8ºWest. Both of these should have strong signals from practically any part of the UK.
