Hi
Had this TV just under 5 years now with no problems until I just switched it on.
I have all 4 HDMI inputs being used, number 2 being for cctv so when I go to bed I put it on that input and turn tv off.
Just now when I switched tv on it came on in HDMI2 but when I tried to change to another HDMI it’s just stuck on that?
It won’t even let me use TV in TV mode.
I have unplugged and tried that with no luck, so swapped satellite into HDMI2 so I can watch that but wondering if there’s any easy fix without calling out an engineer?
Thanks

Hi satwyn
Over the years I’ve used several of them including a expensive one due to only one of the HDMI’s being 4K and was never impressed so not used for ages and don’t want to go that route.

Hi saintomer
Will probably try that tomorrow.
It’s just still in warranty but trying to avoid the aggravation of engineer coming out as it looks like jodral bank behind tv with all the wires and the set alone weighs over 50kg

Hi tonyd on most Panasonic TX TV'S in settings, there is a restore to factory settings. Many years ago, soon after I had bought my TX I had left my auto update switched on, and after one update my tv kept switching off for no reason.
I restored to factory settings, after which I turned off auto updates, thankfully never had a problem with the tv since and that was over 8 years.

Just a chance your tv had just had an update which upset your settings, good that is all back to normal now.
