Hitech 9000/9200 seems to be a dead end box now, things come and go in the continual change era.

Internet servers are now cheap and more reliable then the gift type of means of getting premium channels, and strangely more reliable.

As of today (friday 13th March) much of the box now has virtualy no support, the ad-ult section has gone and only a few films run on VOD and my tv only displays arab and african channels.

I think its safe to say the Hitech boxes days are done, it was a tempremental and unreliable mini beast anyway, its now on my useless and dead reciever mountain in my garage.

Internet stream providers now rule the roost.

Hi TonyO just checked mine VOD cinemas working okay, obviously not much on MY TV at present. A dult working okay except for You p*** which has not worked for sometime now. The only other thing not working is youtube.
I am running V1.0.4ACT 2.3.63 10/12/2018 which is very stable on my HB9000.

Hi,
HB9000 HD on 2.3.63 (I found 2.4.18 too buggy and downgraded recently) on virg@n.
I also confirm with john henry.
By the way, I seem to remember that some months ago there were rumours of a new hitechbox... but apparently they were just rumours. Any news?

There is no new box at the scene because Hitechbox is a very good box with capabilities.
If you need a new service, just contact team to get one.

2.4.18 is working a bit better today, the VOD is working and the A-dult channels seem to working ok, no sport though !

There's no sport anyway.

I found 2.4.18 buggy:
It kept losing date and time info.
And then it gave me errors trying to read l i n e s from USB.
So I went back to 2.3.63, which gave me no errors reading from USB.
