Hi Guys I have just changed from Open atv 6.4 to Openvix to sort out a softcam problem, but since doing that i have not been able to record. When I go to record the message that comes up is HDD-missing. i have switched off box and re-booted makes no diffrence. In the menu screen I can see storage device when I initialize it starts up but then freezes at 51/100

Hi I followed the above instructions and I have two problems. The first when selecting storage and Initializing it starts to load but stops when it gets to 51/100. The second I have followed instruction again and the result is error message 65280

you asked the same question in another post on 22/april,and got same answers,,if fault not cleared then h/drive may be faulty or bad image download, but first try this put in empiy usb stic and instal and mount and record on it to see if it will work

Use PuTTY to login to the box via Telnet.

Type sfdisk -l

This is what I get on my Ultimo4K

As you can see from above:
My main internal drive is on /dev/sda1
My external USB stick is on /dev/sdb1

What do you see, when you try it on your box?
