View Full Version : Solo 4K or Oscam and Cccam First Installation Help

There were similar topics in the forum, but I wrote my questions again because I could not fully understand.
I just bought a new Solo 4K, I was a Solo 2 user before and was using CCCam. Now I want to use Oscam. I installed the device with BlackHole 3.1.0 flash, reconfigured the channel settings with Tuner.
I wanted to download and install something from the Addons section. Solo 4K gave a green screen, so I had to reinstall BH. So I surfed the Internet and tried to find the most current versions of Oscam and cccam. Which one of these should I choose?
Current Oscams I could find:
1.enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam.emu11595-arm_1.1-r0_cortexa15hf-neon-vfpv4.ipk
2.enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam_11.691-emu-r798_all.ipk
3.enigma2-softcams-cccam-all-images_2.3.9-r2-RAED_OE2.0_all.ipk
Current Cccam I could find:
1. CCcam2.3.2 2019-05-07-de.arm
2.ccam info-ccam prio-oscam dvbapi-oscam services-oscam srvid-oscam srvid2 10.02.2020
By your advice, After deciding which version, first of all
I will follow the following yo is it correct?
Cccam ipk with FTP program -> var / / Temp
Oscam ipk with FTP program -> var / Temp
After I put it in the folder, I will install Solo 4K and BH with Manuel install.
Solo 4K Restart:
After I put the Cccam into the file with the FTP program, I will authorize it as follows:
CCcam.channelinfo -> / var / etc (chmod 644)
CCcam.prio -> / var / etc (chmod 644)
CCcam.providers -> / var / etc (chmod 644)
CCcam.cfg -> / var / etc (chmod 777)
Emu files: / var / bin - cccam (chmod 777)
Where to get emu files and are they required?
After I put the Oscam into the file with the FTP program, I will authorize it as follows:
Oscam.conf -> / var / tuxbox / config (chmod?)
Oscam.server -> / var / tuxbox / config (chmod?)
Oscam.user -> / var / tuxbox / config (chmod?)
Oscam.services -> / var / tuxbox / config (chmod?)
Oscam.srvid -> / var / tuxbox / config (chmod?)
Oscam.srvid2 -> / var / tuxbox / config (chmod?)
Oscam.dvbapi -> / var / tuxbox / config (chmod?)
Emu files: usr / bin / cam (chmod 755)?
Where to get emu files and are they required?
To switch between these two
An Addons Maneger program I can find: enigma2-plugin-extensions-levi45multicammanager_8.1_all.ipk with FTP program -> var / / Temp and install it.
I will convert the Ccams with cccam2oscam-1.2 and throw them into Oscam files. There are two files here, User and Server.
So will nothing be written into the other files below?
- oscam.dvbapi
- oscam.services
- oscam.srvid
Emu files: usr / bin / cam (chmod 755)?
Finally, are files like MGcamd, Camd3, Newcamd, Xcamd etc. needed?
In addition, I put my 2.5 hard drive that I removed from Solo2 into Solo 4K, there are movies in it, the device saw as HDD in the menu, do I need to re-install it again?
Thank you.

A few basics for you
only arm based files should be used , especially the bin files like cccam and oscam and mgcamd
read mode is attributes 644 , read and write is 755 , , so I have no idea why you mention 777 ? I have only ever used the first 2
so you require various files for each one , ARM based bin files , camscript files, config files , so not MIPS files
OSCAM requires various files in VAR/ETC/TUXBOX/CONFIG , several , including the ones you mentioned, so each file has a use within oscam but is normally 644 , not 755
the bin file goes into var/bin and chmod to 755
the oscam script goes into usr/camscript as usual , chmod 644
mgcamd v1.46 may prove useful , along with the configs in usr/keys
your HDD needs to be added as a device, mounted , no need to install it again , just mount it as a hdd , so it is recognised by the OS
I do not have a 4K box but the principles are the same as the older VU boxes (I use openBH myself)
the openBH is now on version 4.4 , or stay on the image you downloaded above , blackhole 3.1.0 for 4k boxes

Thank you for your quick response. I have never used Oscam before. So I don't know what current version I should install and how to authorize (644 now). Which of the three Oscam versions I have given above should be (arm based as I understand it) or are there any newer ones?
I wonder if CCcam2.3.2 2019-05-07-de.arm version is suitable as Cccam?
I will also try the mgcamd v1.46 recommendation after Oscam is done.
I am glad that the HDD is not reinstalled and its contents are not erased.
Thanks again

I have no glass installed on my device. BH 3.1.0. Can I install the latest CCCAM and Oscam versions in Solo 4K?
CCcam2.3.2-de.arm
oscam svn11684-solo4k-emu-r798 Jan 31st 2021
Thanks.

I am afraid that I cannot answer the questions about latest versions etc, as mine are MIPS based but I did my mips one last week to version r11691 after obtaining it from other forums, so try the main ones for the files , but we cannot name them on here, but there are several containing various emu files and configs and tutorials etc
sometimes only the bin file is in any zip etc , but an IPK installer may well install the camscript & configs as well as the bin file, plus setting the correct 644 or 755 for you , as a full package and not just the bin
otherwise its use flash fxp or filezilla or DCC or similar to set the attributes by FTP into the box ( I prefer flash FXP but numerous FTP programmes are out there), plus available in other linux forums or similar on here, not just this sub forum. I have used flash fxp and DCC for maybe ten to fifteen years so am set in my ways)
sometimes you can install a plugin tool that gives access to BH emus as well as for other images
your oscam config files will need editing after installation, or you can FTP them manually instead , oscam is a ball game in its own right, as explained in numerous threads on here for a decade or more , so not just a 4k box topic, but linux in general , VU , TECHNOMATE , DREAMBOX , loads of manufactured boxes
chances are that you only need to mount your HDD , plus also mount any USB stick too, if used for EPG saves etc , mine has both mounted , as hdd or usb as required
OSCAM for vuplus zero 4K/ solo 4k/ultimo 4k/uno 4k, mutant hd51/52, AX 51/52, Xtrend, ET11000/120000, Spycat 4K, Edision 4k, Octagon 4k, DM900, DM920, Vu+ solo, Uno, Duo, Ultimo, Zero (IPK)
OpenATV, BlackHole, OpenBH, OpenLD, OpenPLi, OpenHDF, OpenVix, VTI, SatDreamGr, OpenDroid.
oscam.server
osam.conf files go in /etc/tuxbox/config
FTP the ipk file to /var/volatile/tmp
Then use the IPK install option from within Blackhole to install the oscam binary.

Thank you for your Patience and attention to this newbie. I installed Oscam thanks to you. Do I need to install Ccam now as well? If your answer is yes, you better say, what current version of Cccam should it be?

Personally I prefer Oscam, but test it, before adding anything else.
Try the Softcam Concierge, provided by hda5:
SoftCam Concierge [Team Satpimps] CCcam.cfg newcamd.list oscam.server (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?173148-SoftCam-Concierge-Team-Satpimps-CCcam-cfg-newcamd-list-os******erver)
If you need help, using the tool, please post back.

Hello, I downloaded SoftCam Concierge [Team Satpimps] CCcam.cfg newcamd.list oscam.server.
I got a cccam line for testing from provider X, I converted the line for Oscam server with SoftCam Concierge following the installation instruction:
[reader]
label = CCcam
protocol = cccam
device = egygold.net, 1xxxx
user = 09xxxx
password = xxxxx
inactivitytimeout = 1
group = 1
cccversion = 2.1.2
ccckeepalive = 1
and sent it to solo 4K. However, I did not know how and where to process the following information given by the cccam provider.
Domain Name: egygold.net
Port: 1xxxx
Users: XXX ........
Password: XX .........
Will this information be entered in oscam.conf or oscam.user? How ?
Thanks
The info will be entered into oscam.server
All the info provided by your CCcam provider is actual in your oscam.server file, look again.
Restart oscam from the Blackhole menu after transferring the files.

You can add several emu cams if you want to, including cccam , and mgcamd 1.46 , plus the oscam listed above, then you can try them out at your leisure using the blue button to switch between them (I would suspect you need an arm version of cccam, not a mips version) , chmod the bin file to 755 if required , the config is same as before as they are just text files, like oscam or the configs for mgcamd etc
Oscam is probably the best these days, but do not discount the benefits that other emus may bring :)

I copied and pasted this information with DCC and oscam.server and saved it. Oscam_11.684-r798 is selected as active Cam in Solo 4K, I restart and run it again, but there is no image again. I have defined 755 as Oscam.server authorization. The / usr / camscript privilege is defined as 776.
When I couldn't get a result like this, I pasted the lines sent by the service provider to Oscam.user and Oscam.conf, but the result is still the same.
What else could restrict or prevent?

I converted the oscam lines one by one to cccam and pasted it into the Ccam.config file. I ran cccam 2.3.2 as active cam and the image came up. So the lines are working. But I don't understand why I'm having problems in Oscam ...
It could be that your CCcam provider does not allow connections from oscam; or the CCcam version in your oscam.server file needs to be changed to cccversion = 2.3.2
Try that and report back.

Cccversion = 2.1.4 in Oscam.server changed to 2.3.2 on all lines. Still no image was taken.

check the oscam web interface and see if its showing as connected (in your browser) - oscam.conf has your details, or needs them adding
check the user config file to ensure you have set your box up as a user, such as
[account]
user = levrek1a
pwd = levrek2b
group = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
cccmaxhops = 2
cccreshare = 0
au = 1
umaxidle = 0

Openwebif is opened with DCC and webbrowser is opened on PC. It takes normal channel views, but I couldn't find a menu with Oscam.conf information. Instead, based on the information you provided, I manually entered them into Oscam.config in FTP.
[account]
user = testxxxxx
pwd = 59xxxxxx
group = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
cccmaxhops = 1
cccreshare = 0
au = 1
umaxid = 0
Before that, there was the following information provided by the provider:
#[global]
#disablecrccws = 1
#disablecrccws_only_for = 098C: 000000; 09C4: 000000; 098D: 000000; 1884: 000000; 1708: 000000; 1709: 000000; 0E00: 000000; 0500: 030B00; 0500: 050F000; 1811: 003311,003315; 1883: 003311; 1819 :00006D
I made both kinds of separate entries, but still could not get a video.
Thanks

the files do not use your server supplied details, they are local config files for oscam , so your user file and conf file have to be set up to work
I provided you with an example of a user file, using your username , in oscam.user (not oscam.conf)
as for the openwebif, you need to look at your oscam.conf file and see what the default oscam details are, port , name and password , etc
then put your local box ip address plus that port into your web browser , add the name and password and your oscam webif should be displayed
you can check if the lines are connected in oscam webif , plus you need your box to login to your local oscam emu by adding a user (yourself) into the oscam.user file for it to work
I did post some examples on this forum a few years ago , have a look at those
here is an example of a web address for accessing your oscam webif in firefox, chrome , edge , opera , safari , or whatever browser you use
http://192.168.0.35:15090/status.html?hideidle=1
default username & password etc may be oscam & oscam , to login to the oscam webif interface panel
to repeat , these 2 items are oscam config files , nothing to do with any lines or oscam.server , so there is a lot more to setting up oscam than cccam , try looking at these examples but the bin files are mips so do not use them on a 4K box

Hello, I followed the links you provided and the other links there.
I was finally able to connect to webif via htpp and I saw the Welcome to CCcam 2.3.2 server on the screen, of course the keys had expired. I don't want to keep you busy anymore. The sample Oscam file contents that I have been browsing the internet and trying to examine are all different from each other.
I can add lines from oscam.conf and oscam.server by copy-pasting the provider information that comes to me as a test via FTP. I have no other idea about the other lines that should be, namely some lines (I hope no ads, since these lines are no longer valid)
These lines will only be added to Oscam.server as far as I understand (it does not contain information about Oscam.conf, I think manually disablecrccws_only_for part will be added to Oscam.conf):

oscam.conf is nothing to do with your lines, but does contain different sections including the oscam webif as I mentioned earlier, so you can see it working in a browser
oscam user is where you add authorised boxes, including your new 4k box for example, so each user has its own login, the first user is your new box, so unless you provide a local user in oscam.user to login your own box into your own oscam emulator, your box wont work , meaning you wont decode anything at all
the camscripts above start the cam emus , like cccam , oscam and the CI (Common Interface, where you can plug in an actual cam) , they are text files containing lines of instructions
getting mgcamd or cccam to work is fairly easy, oscam requires quite a lot of studying to get your head around, its a topic all by itself and so we have a specific oscam section devoted to it, where I posted those files to assist newbies a few years ago
the lines you received go into oscam.server, as you know already, the people who provided them did not provide all the other configs for oscam, they assume that you already have it set up and ready to go, with the knowledge required to make it work. so you must get the basics right in oscam.config and oscam.user (both contain essential instructions to make the whole thing work). you must also have started oscam using the blue button and selecting oscam as your emu of choice (so not cccam) and have saved it, so that oscam is an active emu
your Ncam oscam above probably matches the physical name of your oscam, so no you may not have an Ncam.oscam.sh file, doesnt matter in this context, but is the old default for bin files that are merely called oscam , with no version numbers in their names
oscam webif shows a panel where you can alter things in a menu and shows if lines and boxes are connected, in use , idle etc
nothing to do with what you mentioned
here is a link to examples of the oscam interface panel , accessed using your box ip plus the oscam port number
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=oscam+webif+picture&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=4NIlp4RXEdtR-M%252CtflZiH7fx41UIM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kQr7vQ5KbJxNEWTSA4NK2mRRIE03g&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiP4_7D_-_wAhWx5eAKHdFJAPgQ9QF6BAgPEAE#img rc=4NIlp4RXEdtR-M
the lines connect your box to somebody elses box
the oscam.user connects your own box to your own oscam emulator, when its activated and in use
oscam.conf has several purposes, one purpose is the webif so you can view your own oscam interface panel
Put this in oscam.user file

Hi Masters, it's starting to get confused as it's not basic as I've been wandering around the forum Currently, I can watch the broadcasts with the current Oscam ( enigma2-softcams-oscam-all-images_11.684-emu-r798-arm+mips_all) version with the lines given by the Server Provider.
Now there is the version ( enigma2-softcams-oscam-all-images_11.693-emu-r798-arm+mips_all ) that I saw in Updates. Do I need to install this now to stay up to date?
Also oscam-11635-solo4k-emu. or there are PowerVU config files for oscam-emu files, do I need them?

in theory , yes , you would use the latest oscam, but in practice its not necessary to do this frequently, but there is no reason why you cannot have 2 or 5 or 10 oscam bin files and the startup files in your emulators by utilising the usr/camscript files , one for each oscam, then select each oscam separately and check it out ( I press blue to see which one is in use at any time, so I keep the old one whilst testing the newer ones)
you only need one working oscam and typically I would only update a couple of times a year, never erasing the older ones until I am happy that the new ones are working properly, so do not obsess about it , the difference between the 2 above is maybe one or two weeks of changes, neither here nor there imho
powervu is tricky to get your head around , so dont run before you can walk
we have no idea what you actually need, everyone is different (sometimes be thankful for what you have got)
