hi all,
here is the txt of the springclean
the text goes like this, it is written assuming you are using thor as your 0 position or due south bird, if you are using another sat for this then substitute that sat for thor and make the amendments where needed
How to spring clean your humax 5400
For Humax 5400 Z patched
H/W oak 1&11 2.1
S/W Hic 1.05.00+
Device driver version Hic 1.05.00+
S/W last update 4 mar 2002
Loader version H 2.08
sys id 0016.0600
tuxonhumax ToH 3+
files needed.
HU 15 (on this date) uploader for HDF files
HIC 1.05.00 hdf (or relevent hdf for your model)
HIC delete all channels hdf
your saved settings file, or the latest pet123, original or my modified.
humbox 4.1 or your own favorite editor
tux on humax +cam ToH 3+ (on this date)
The idea is to put your humax 5400 back to its original out of the box state ready for the new patch,
and new settings.
WARNING
THIS WILL PUT THE STB TO ORIGINAL SOFTWARE PRE PATCH, AND ANTENNA POSITIONS TO ORIGINAL POSITIONS.
LOADING ORIGINAL SOFTWARE
first start the HU 15 uploader program
make sure the com port is correct and speed is 115200
click on the tab marked open HDF file
navigate to where your original software is and click on open, you will get checked ok message
(providing you have got your original software from humax's home site) click on ok
click on upload (pc to stb) waiting for humax connection banner will appear
turn stb to standby using your handset
now turn back on using handset
the banner will start uploading, wait until you see END appear in the panel on your stb then
turn stb on at the on button on the stb.
To check your upload press
menu
installation
status
stb status
and you will see
H/W oak 1&11 2.1
S/W Hic 1.05.00
Device driver version Hic 1.05.00
S/W last update 4 mar 2002
Loader version H 2.08
sys id 0016.0600
when you change satellites there will be a red banner
and you will only get FTA or irdeto channels.
RESET PRESTORED POSITIONS
change to a thor channel (this is not required but helps for other reasons)
menu
installation
service searching
as this is the original software you need to put in the pin 0000
manual search
ok on antenna alternative
diseqc command change to installer
up to sat name and change to reference
motor control change to goto,ok. wait for dish to alter(1deg) this is a chance to
visually check if you wish by climbing the ladder.
(also if you are lucky you may still barely get the signal from thor that you were on)
now change motor control to reset, you will get a warning all will be recalculated, press ok.
back up to sat name change back to the sat you were on, if thor intelsat 707
diseqc command change to user, ok
exit exit exit exit
Ok now everything is back to original, and now we can start getting it back together. and if your
setup is ok you will still be getting a signal on thor.
First find a spare channel on your TV, and tune it to CH 38 this is a precaution in case you lose
the picture when deleting the channels.
DELETING ALL CHANNELS.
Now this action deletes all channels but does not delete the prestored positions, hence the above.
first start the HU 15 uploader program
click on the tab marked open HDF file
navigate to where you put the delete all channels hdf and click on open, you will get file unknown message
(providing you are using the one supplied with this txt it will be ok) click on ok
click on upload (pc to stb) waiting for humax connection banner will appear
turn stb to standby using your handset
now turn back on using handset
the banner will start uploading, wait until you see END appear in the panel on your stb then
turn stb on at the on button on the stb.
there will be three (3) green dots flashing on the stb panel.
you might also at this point see a blank screen, change your TV to the channel where you tuned Ch 38
on the screen you will see a warning that no services are registered, it is not needed to press ok, (this
is only for people who wish to find there own services)
NOW TO LOAD YOUR SETTINGS FILE.
open your favorite editor, in this case Humbox 4.1
stb used humax 5400z, with nullmodem cable, program humbox 4.1 and either setting
files pet123 from www.humaxsettings.nl or my modified pet123 for h to h mounts, which i
post on this site.
download either settings file.from the web and save.
open humbox,click on edit, options.
click on model,
change model for your own, and change system id to yours, this is found on the humax
by menu, intallation, status, stb status. you cannot do this at this stage so make sure you have this
written down before you start the spring clean.
click on port tab, check the correct port is marked.
change anything else you wish
when satisfied click on ok.
now click on the menu tab.
if in England, in the uhf tuning section change pal to pal i, or whichever pal you have.
change anything else you wish.
now to download to the stb.
Go to file, open, and navigate to the new settings file, select and click on open
if you are using my modified pet123 it has most of the prestored positions input
turn your stb to standby.
click on the little dish icon (download to humax)
the waiting for connection , banner appears
turn stb on, and progress is shown on screen and tv.
HERE IS WHERE SOMETIMES IT GOES PEAR SHAPED, IF YOU SEE ERROR SYS ID, GO BACK TO THE BEGINNING AND REDO THE BIT ON OPTIONS.
when finished END will show on the stb press the standby button on the stb.
you will now need to back to the TV channel you normally use
you should now have the new channels and be able to get your antennas.
Now to check and fine tune your new setup.
You checked in passing in the beginning that thor was ok
so for a check go to a channel on thor and
menu
installation
service searching (still have to enter the pin 0000)
manual search
ok on antenna alternative
check that diseqc command mode is in user
movement press either left or right untl you have a good signal, when you have a good bottom line
signal, then go to
motor control and change to store, THEN PRESS OK
remember how much and in which direction you moved, this will be needed for all other sats
exit exit exit exit exit
now we work down the rest of the sats
ok
yellow
yellow
and work up and down the sat list
ignoring amos unless you actually use it
choose each one
ok
ok on a channel name
identify hopefully by the name on screen
then fine tune as above if needed
please read the other txt files included in the zip for more info
one thing to note,
jeager superjack dg120 owners when looking for seasat at 35.5E (if it is programmed as mine)
you will need to tune in installer mode and go all the way from 38.5W because of an hardware error.
all other sats will be on the button or very near, keeping in mind the constant noted above.
in the txt included with this will be a list describing how and why and in which direction to tune the
odd sat that does not show.
Now to patch your humax.
i would suggest you follow SHADOWS post how to patch your humax.,but it is no harder than putting
in the original software

Hi m8,
Just noticed that most of members here are confused since Humax able to decode CW & publishing New DSR 9500 EMU Ed53 , new keys files , etc....
the main point here is CW keys embadded into the Humax Emu (part of the whole batch ) not into the ram editor ( Catone2.6) where we can edit & change keys .
so when u switch to one of the CW channels the Humax Emu go and call the Keys from the emu not from the ram ediotor (as no place 4 CW keys).
that is mean that we can't add, delete, edit keys from ram editor and new keys files have no conection with the emu .
to overcome this Problem we have to have the following :
1- New DSR 9500 EMU Ed53 which have places for CW keys
2- keys files with a new Format to deal with new DSR 9500 EMU Ed53
---------------------------------------------------------------------
3- New Hot-Toh ram editor (Catone2.7) to accept CW keys(manualy) & keys coming from New DSR 9500 EMU Ed53 or any other keys programs
4- New Hot-Toh Firmeware (Emu) to change the way calling Cw keys to be from ram editor not from the Emu itself .
------------------------------------------------------------------------
That is why New DSR 9500 EMU Ed53 Editor said (( Key-space Offset is changed from this version
so it can NOT be used with Older Ram-Bin/Firmware ))
Up till now we have New DSR 9500 EMU Ed53 & keys files with a new Format
Still waiting for New Hot-Toh ram editor (Catone2.7) &
New Hot-Toh Firmeware
Hope it might help

Hi Voith could i also suggest replacing r2 a 180k 2watt resistor at the high voltage end of the pcb it gets quite hot and over the years the soldered joint deteriorates (well it did in mine) ending in a dry joint. If you do replace it leave plenty of wire on to keep the heat away from the pcb. i also replaced zd3 30v zener & r21 100r both burnt out
here also is a diagram for the psu found by marco

hi all,
as suggested by siegfried, a tidy up.
Humax 5400 loaders - the do's and dont's of loaders.
Information supplied by carnage, humi-user and Siegfried.
There are 4 different loaders for the 5400, the System ID and loader version depending on the hardware in your STB:-
L1.3x = Sys ID 0016.0000 = OAK-I board with MK2 tuner
L2.0x = Sys ID 0016.0200 = OAK-II board with MK2 tuner
H1.3x = Sys ID 0016.0400 = OAK-I board with MK3 tuner
H2.0x = Sys ID 0016.0600 = OAK-II board with MK3 tuner
The latest versions are L1.37, L2.08, H1.37, and H2.08 .
The 5400Z usually has the one loader H2.08 .
It is not necessary to upload a loader to patch a receiver, but it is recommended to first return it to it's original state by uploading the official Humax firmware. If you need to reload the original Humax firmware (the latest version is HIC10500-0x.hdf) make sure that you load the correct version for your loader/sys id:-
L1.37 = ..-00.hdf
L2.08 = ..-02.hdf
H1.37 = ..-04.hdf
H2.08 = ..-06.hdf
Note that all ToH patches are independent of the loader and work with all loader versions, and do not contain a loader.
WARNING
None of these loaders is better or worse than the others and they are NOT repeat NOT interchangeable !!!
A receiver originally with an H1.37 loader would be destroyed by uploading an H2.08 loader !!!
A receiver originally with an L1.37 loader wouldn't work with an H1.37 loader !!!
Also, the H2.19 loader is only for Humax 5400Z+ STB's with the SD1278 LVA-3 tuner and Sys ID 0016.0601 . It is not compatible with the Humax 5400 or 5400Z so do NOT try to update those STB's to the H2.19 loader.
You have been WARNED.

hi all,
here as posted by harrysat
Hi, I use the Humax 5400 among others (Nokia 9500 and Echostar 3000) for C-band and it works fine.
Just choose in the Menu the right LO (local oscilator) frequency (5150 MHz) and search with the right frequency, Polarization, SR and FEC parameters, you can use the following method:
I suggest that you make a separate C-band Antena Alternative by Menu/Installation/Service Searching/ Antenna Setting, then choose the Antenna Alternative number (from 1 to 32 whatever you like and don't youse for others dishes) by right or left-clicking on the control. Then a row lower you can specify the name of this Antenna Alternative by right clicking to "User defined" and write for instance: "1,8 m C-band dish".
You can choose (for the Antenna alternative (1,8 m C-band dish) that you have chosen to receive C-band channels on) the right LO frequency by: Menu/Installation/Service Searching/ Antenna Setting/LNB frequency and change "Universal" to "5150". Look also at the right parameters when you use a 12/0V switch or Diseqc switch or motor.
You can search by: Menu/Installation/Service Searching/Advanced Search/
The PMC table does not change anything because there does not exist PMC tables with parameters for C-band channels. So if you are not satisfied with the audio preselect language or anything else, you have to change it yourself with a PMC editor.

ATTENTION, I am fairly sure this is within the rules, but please do not ban me without checking
attention, capkeys 1.3 not working at this date of posting
hi all,
ok, against my better judgement i am at it again, i have been banging on about the update facility in dsr9500 5. well, yes it works, but only if the url you/we are using carries the keys you want, other wise it all goes **** up, so here is my other method of doing it.
programs needed
dsr 9500 5.+
key capturer
first open up dsr
tick empty ram, and write this to your stb,
then go menu, toh, parser, ram editor, and just check you have no keys showing
now load the very best of bin's, (and i do not take the micky)
i am talking Mach1. RAM.bin into dsr9500 5+
now start key capturer
click on get providers
now if we are looking for tps, then in the provider list choose tps
click on capture keys, make sure you give it access to the web.
after a few seconds it will show the new keys with the date issued
in dsr9500
choose the correct provider in this case viaccess 007c00
now for line 3 its just a case of deleting the keys in that line, and copy from the key capturer, and pasting into line 3
for line 13, tick the +0x10 via 2 key box, and line 13 will show, then copy and paste as before
now its only a case of writing the keys to the stb
after this turn off by the remote, and then turn on.
please note, that you still need a recent bin loaded before you can input keys,
tps = line 3 and 13
polsat = line 8 and 9
HOT 7.5
D+ 4101
keys 00 split between lines 00 and 01
keys 01 split between lines 02 and 03
TPS 7C00
still split between lines 03 and 13
POLSAT 7101
keys 00 split between lines 00 and 01
keys 01 split between lines 02 and 03
TV CABO (KAKA)4901
keys 00 split between lines 00 and 01
keys 01 split between lines 02 and 03
MEDIAPARK 1911
key 0 line 00

''How-to'' input and delete biss keys using the remote controll
as posted by sat_rrstm.
and updated
''How-to'' input and delete biss keys using the remote controll
for versions from ToH3.4_HoT9.4 and later ones.
by sat_rrstm.
We usually get a biss ch. codes in this form:
NBA TV .
Index: 1FFA .
HEX key: 18 39 6D EC 81 A6 25 C0 (8 sets,16 digits)(this key is not active).
From version ToH3.4_HoT9.4 and later on,first we take the ch's frequency 11892
and turn in heximal form : 2E74
We need now the ch-ID in its heximal form.Ch-ID of NBA is 4 and turns to 0004
and we need the last byte only,04.
The last we need is its PMT PID which is 32 and turns to 0020 and we need only
the last byte,20.
So the first 8 digits of the biss key-line are : 2E74 0420
Out of the 8 key-sets we skip the 4th and the 8th ones,so here is what is left:
18 39 6D 81 A6 25,and here is the complete key-line : 2E74042018396D81A625.
When we have found DCW of a not-biss channel, like ***View or MCT channels,
it looks like this:B 36B2 00 FD6C6DD6430E68B92DAF6B47CCC2A432 :*** View PLUS(this
key is not active)
In this case we have to create two lines that have the first 8 digits similar.
These 8 digits are created in the same way as above with NBA TV and so for the
*** View PLUS they are : 3048 B292 .
Now we get the 32-digited key we found and split it in two 16-digited parts
(we cut it in the middle):
So the key FD6C6DD6430E68B92DAF6B47CCC2A432 becomes :
FD6C6D(D6)430E68(B9)
2DAF6B(47)CCC2A4(32)
Now we add the channel's 8 digits in front of each created part and we skip
the digits in the brackets and we get the two lines we need:
3048 B292 FD6C6D430E68
3048 B292 2DAF6BCCC2A4.
Using the remote we go to : Menu --> TOH --> Parser --> Ram Editor -->OK
Press P+ or P- till you see BISS-FIXED DCW screen,or press only the 'musical note'
button (for radio ch's)
Go to an empty line : 00000000000000000000>Press OK. Insert the 20 digits-->
Press OK.We exit all menus and then press STANDBY on HUMAX to store.
If we wish to delete a biss key line, first we flash it and then we press
STANDBY button on the remote instantly 4-5 times.
If we'd like to delete 2 key lines at the same time after flashing the first one
we keep pressed almost any button, except 'recall' button, for about 4-5 seconds!

2: Editor_ReadMe,a text file
3: Microsoft_Script_Control,a zip file
4: MSINET,a zip file
5:Mswinsck,a zip file.
First you have to unzip all 3 zipped files and then, getting into the new 3 folders,
you have to install them in your PC,by double-clicking on the them and getting the
successful installation-messages.
Then you have to run the main exe and do the following settings:

Now again: ? --> Settings --> Com Port --> Com Port 1 --> one left click.
Now : ? --> Settings --> FW Check --> Off --> one left click.
Last : ? --> Settings --> Verify from Box --> On --> one left click.
Now you have created a new NotePad script called ''Settings'',you can see it in
the same folder with all the rest files.
After you have checked all these, try to load the latest key bin to your DSR exe.
Turn on Humax and tune it to a FTA channel and press ''Write'' button on DSR exe.
Now you get this message:
''Do You want to write already loaded file ?''.
Answering ''Yes'' makes the exe to start the loading and the verification, giving
this message when finished:
''Written file Verified OK!''.
Now you can turn Hummy off, using STANDBY button on the box,
to save key-bin correctly.

firmware update issue
hi guys its banging head off the wall time for me!!!
i was given a 5400 with some issues mainly psu.
i have repaired this part and discovered the 5400 has no firmware on it as im getting the error code that corresponds to it so........
i have tried to upload new firmware however i have been getting the a-ut error code (firmware tx rx problem) so i have dropped the connection speed right down to the slowest possible and it starts off uploading the software but then crashes out!
any suggestions guys?
i have changed the crystal next to the com port and also went over the joints to check for drys but still the problem persists..
please help my head is going to go through the wall soon lol
solution,
ok problem solved and what a bi*ch!!!
the surface mount rs232 controller had went down
this was on a oak 2 board
the part was as follows
ic u340
part number adm239mjr
if anyone else ever has this issue and your ok working with surface mount components you may have to go down this road, however afer all the 5400's i have repaired this is the first time i have came across this issue so it may be an idea to elimated all other possible causes before going down the route i had to.
well anyways all sorted now if voith or any other mod wants to add this perticular issue to the stickies help section and the component in question!

hi all,
if you have any doubts about the order of loading, try this
patch
using hdfsmart and making sure all the modules are ticked on the left, or use hu15
pcm
if needed but always try without, when you load a full patch, the new pcm gets loaded as well.
channel settings
using hnfsmart or humbox
change caid to card+emu
change stb time to gmt +2 for tps
bin
using dsr9500 9.6
when you load the bin, do a verify as this will tell you if the bin has gone in
if this fails (and you will know in a couple of secs) and you have skipped the channel settings, then reload your channel settings as this cleans the bin out and allows you to load fresh
watch telly
hope this helps

this is written to move channels from one file to another using HNFSMART using the latest pet123 files, but the principle is the same for others.
to get 45E channels
first open file modified pet123+h to h mounts190707.hnf in hnfsmart
then open file toh_45east-43west-Humax-30-21.hnf in another hnfsmart
line up both and reduce them to a manageable size to work on screen
then go to provider in both editors and highlight 45E
one will have dummy channel in the other will have more channels using the one with the channels and making sure you are still highlighting the correct sat, go to
edit
select
all
it will all go blue then back to
edit
copy
then cross over to the other editor, making sure that one is also highlighting the correct sat, go
edit
paste (paste will only be available if you have correctly copied from the last)
now depending on how many channels you are moving i would give it some time just in case its not all transferred before you do anything else
when you are happy its finished moving then look at the bottom of the editor screen
you will see how many tv channels and how many radio channels you have, the aim is to reduce so that you have below 4000 in total, so its just a case of right click and delete if you are dumping 1 channel at a time, or its select all and right click and delete service, if you are doing it by provider
once you are happy save the file
i hope this helps

HOW TO FIND THAT ELUSIVE SAT.
we will use 10E as an example.
1,
load the latest channel settings file.
2,
choose a channel on the target sat(10E) by pressing OK then press yellow or yellow yellow so that you end up in the left hand panel
scroll to the target sat,(10E) press OK, this lands you on the first channel in the main panel,in this case with settings of 18/07/05 1475 eutw1 10e,to be safe scroll to the channel 1477 arm 1, press OK to choose this channel, exit.(the reason for this is some channels are not being helpful for me in showing signal or the correct sat, but this one is)
3,
now one of two things will happen, either a banner saying moving to 10E will appear and your sat will dive off somewhere, or just the banner will appear and nothing will happen, fear not, this is what you do.
4,
press
menu
installation
service searching
manual search
anttenna alternative will be blued, press OK.
5,
go to orbital position, and using left or right get into the sat list
scroll down to the nearest sat that you have tuned in, in this case 7E, press OK
the sat name will change to 7E.
6,
goto motor control, then using left/right choose goto, and press OK.
7,
go back to orbitalposition, repeat line 5, using the name of the target sat in this case 10E
you will see the sat name change to 10E
8,
go to movement, noting while you do, that diseqc command mode is set to user.
then, in this case as the target sat is to the east of the already stored one, press the left a series of times,
this will depend on two of three things, 1,if its a diqesc mount, then it wll be about 5 times to 1deg
2,if its a Vbox, it will be about 2 times to 1deg. 3, how many degs between known sat and target sat.
so repeating,go to movement and then you press left and in this case, as its a diqesc mount, and 3deg, we need to press approx 15 times, you will need to wait a few seconds for the bottom blue line to come to life, some channels are a little slow locking up, once you have the bottom blue line, or if you do not, then try it a click at a time around the 15 point, and wait, and tune it in finally when you have the bottom line as good as you can,
go to motor control and select store, press ok.
exit,exit,exit,exit exit.
you should now be seeing the channel you require
hope this helps, just use this guide, and insert the sats that you have and the ones you require, where needed.

an example is to convert biss keys using
HOT 9.3 or lower patches is
say this is a Biss key
1F 2C ED 4B A2 C4 5D 49
Go to the first 8 digits then go back 2 places so it looks like
1F 2C ED A2 C4 5D 49 so you have deleted 4B
then delete the last 2 digits 49 so it looks like
1F 2C ED A2 C4 5D
then using your remote press ?
the first thing is to read the serv-id we will say this is 28656
the second thing to read is the pmtpid we will say this is 316
the third thing to do is read the pcrpid we will say this is 3061
Now we have our keys we need a dec to bin converter -http://www.*********.com/binary_converter/
once the converter is loaded
we will convert 28656 from bin to hex so it looks like 6FF0
Now convert 316 from bin to hex so it loooks like 013C
all we Need is the last 2 digits so it looks 3C
Now we need the pcrpid convert 3061 so it loooks like 0BF5
Again all we need is the last 2 digits
so it looks like F5
So this biss key we started out with
1F 2C ED 4B A2 C4 5D 49
it now should like 6FF0 3CF5 1F 2C ED A2 C4 5D

hi all,
a member elsewhere ferreted this out and I thought it was so useful I will repost here
The PMCTable(Row 1-140000 in the firmware) is used to set the PID for incoming ECM-Data(Entitlement Control Message) for the Provider Channel in order to Decrypt the Channel. A Service Channel might have more than one CA-ID(Viaccess, Irdeto
) with different Idents, so you may find more than one row for the same Channel.
In addition, ToH firmware adds specific rows on PMCTable for their own use.
It is not so simple as describe above; I will give an example to clear it more.
PMCTable row contains:
Ant ID: ID/Number of the Satellite position in your Channels List Settings.
Service ID: Identification of the Service (Giving by the Provider)
CA-ID: Identification of the Encryption system used by this Service
---0100 Seca
---0500 Viaccess
---06xx - Irdeto (xx Different Encryption Version of Irdeto)
---17xx BetaCrypt (xx Different Encryption Version of Betacrypt)
---18xx - Nagra(xx Different Encryption Version of Nagra)
---0Dxx - Cryptoworks(xx same)
---0B00 Conax
---
etc
ECM: Identification of the Channel
Ext/ID: Provider Identification
To: Time Offset to correct time difference in channels.
---FFFD = -3.00
---FFFE = -2.00
---FFFF = -1.00
---0000 = 0:00
---0001 = +1.00
---0002 = +2.00
---0003 = +3.00
Audio/Video ID: Identify the Audio and/or Video ID.
---A+VPID: Check both Audio & Video
---VPID Only Video
---APID Only Audio
---OFF No check
---No PCR PCR PID disabled
Try: From where trying to decrypt the Channel.
---All All below
---Emu Emulation
---CRD Card
---Net Network
Example for Multivision 3
AntID---ServiceID---CAID---ECM---ExtID---To---AV/PID---Try

pretty much the same as entering biss keys in but
dcw keys are made up of 32 digits
we will say this is hbo comedy max tv
DC 86 0B 43 CD FC 5A 23 25 34 38 97 64 44 E4 8D
we delete every 8th digit like so
DC 86 0B CD FC 5A 25 34 38 64 44 E4
then look to see what frequency the channel is on we will say 12071
then convert it form bin to hex like so 2F27
then look at serv-id we will say its 168 convert it from bin to hex 00A8
we just need the last two digits A8
then look at pmt pid we will say it is 102 convert this from bin to hex 0066
again we just need last two digits 66
2F27A866
Now take the the biss key we converted
DC 86 0B CD FC 5A 25 34 38 64 44 E4
every 12th digit press return like so
DC 86 0B CD FC 5A
25 34 38 64 44 E4
then just add these digits in front of key like so
2F27A866 DC 86 0B CD FC 5A
2F27A866 25 34 38 64 44 E4
NB:
To get into BISS menu on Hummi:
Menu TOH, Parser, Ram Editor, OK and then press P+ or P- to go to BISS
NB2. The first letter D in this code above was given to me actually with one letter earlier in the alphabet, but changed it just in case I was not allowed to put in full key in this section.

Marco m8,allow me to describe here below the whole alternative way to the usual menu-one to move or delete channels on Hummy :
one channel move procedure :
1. tune Humax on the channel to be moved
2. press 0 & EPG to get in the EPG menu (the channel line is white)
3. press OK (the ch name turns red) & left arrow (the rest of the line turns yellow)
4. scroll up or down with the arrows to go to the place you want to move the ch
5. press green button (the ch has been moved to its new position)
6. press Power button (new position saved, all menus gone and the ch is on TV screen)
multi-channel move procedure :
1. tune Humax on the first channel to be moved
2. press 0 & EPG to get in the EPG menu (the channel line is white)
3. press OK (the ch name turns red) & left arrow (the rest of the line turns yellow)
4. scroll up or down with the arrows to the next ch to be moved and when you are there, press the left arrow (the line turns yellow)
5. do the same with as many ch's as you want to move
6. when finished, scroll up or down with the arrows to go to the place you want to move all these ch's
7. press green button (the ch's have been moved to their new position)
8. press Power button (new position saved, all menus gone and the first picked ch is on TV screen)
one channel delete procedure :
1. tune Humax on the channel to be deleted
2. press 0 & EPG to get in the EPG menu (the channel line is white)
3. press OK (the ch name turns red) & left arrow (the rest of the line turns yellow)
4. press red button (the ch has been deleted, but its sound and picture are still present)
5. press Power button to save (all menus gone and the ch is still on TV screen)
6. scroll back to previous or front to next ch and you will not see the deleted ch again!
multi channel delete procedure :
1. tune Humax on the first channel to be deleted
2. press 0 & EPG to get in the EPG menu (the channel line is white)
3. press OK (the ch name turns red) & left arrow (the rest of the line turns yellow)
4. scroll up or down with the arrows to the next ch to be deleted and when you are there, press the left arrow (the line turns yellow)

6. press red button (the ch's have been deleted, but the first ch's sound and picture are still present)
7. press Power button to save (all menus gone and the first ch is still on TV screen)
8. scroll back to previous or front to next ch and you will not see the deleted ch's again!
All thanks to @Marco and @hawana,who helped me get it cleared!

as posted by Alibe thanks m8.
Here are a few tips that may help with updates and getting certain packages to clear.
Can I skip one or more ToH versions when I do an update.
Yes you can, if you load an update that is a FULL version of the ToH software. A full update will have a size of slightly over 1MB (1000 KB).
A patch release is likely to be a lot smaller (probably approx 150KB, but size may vary). Under these cir***stances, you should ensure that your receiver has the latest full ToH that was released prior to the patch. The patch should then be loaded over the top of that full ToH.
Do I have to load all the modules when I update to the latest ToH.
If you are unsure then I would strongly recommend loading all the modules. This is the safest route to get a sucessful update.
However, on many of updates a number of the modules will remain unchanged. This means that you may be over-writing existing software with identical software. There is no problem with this - your update will just take longer.
Example
Comparison of ToH3.4_HoT10.4 to ToH3.4_HoT10.6b
Firmware Module - Updated from ToH3.4_HoT10.1 to ToH3.4_HoT10.6b - changed
PMCT Module - Updated from ToH3.4_HoT10.4 to ToH3.4_HoT10.5 - changed
Macro Table - HIC-10500+ CAM_ToH30 in both versions - no change
EPG Module - ToH3.3_HoT5.9 in both versions - no change
Catone Module - CAToneV33 in both versions - no change
TTT(Emu) Module - Updated from ToH3.4_HoT10.4 to ToH3.4_HoT10.6b - changed
Language Module - ToH3.4Beta v01 in both versions - no change
It is therefore possible to do a sucessful update from 10.4 to 10.6 by just using the changed modules. In HDFSmart or HTT Turbo Suite, this would be done by just having the identified modules "ticked" before you begin the update.
PMC Tables.
Unlike Grumpyy, I believe that third party PMC Tables are often better than those included within (or with) the ToH software. If you chose a reliable creator like Xamuh, you shouldn't go far wrong and your Table is likely to be more up to date.
Do I need to keep updating my PMC Table.
No. Primarily, your PMC Table is designed to select the optimum form of encryption / decryption to be used for each particular channel. If the channels you watch are decrypting, why bother with an update.
Why would I want to update my PMC Table after moving to ToH3.4_HoT10.6
Earlier PMC Tables have had *** View and FreeX channels defaulting to Viaccess encryption / decryption. With the cracking of Irdeto2, the PMC Table needed to be altered to take advantage of the new Irdeto provisions within HoT10.6
I can only decrypt TPS channels intermittently.
The two main reasons for this are:
1. The CAID Preselect is incorrectly set in the Config Menu.
Do NOT set the CAID Preselect to Card + S + Emu. On this setting your receiver will try and find a key from the Internet (S) in preference to the Emulator (Emu). The cycle to default back to the Emulator may then take too long for the receiver to continally decrypt sucessfully.
Set the CAID Preselect to Card + Emu. This will give the fastest response from your receiver.
2. The AES keys have not been loaded into the receiver using the France 4/5 channels to run the auto-update procedure. If the AES keys are not loaded, you are likely to experience 15 minutes (approx) of black screen followed by 1 minute (approx) of viewable picture. This occurs because the AES key feature is switched off every 15 minutes to allow for the next AES key to be activated. During the 1 minute window the TPS channels revert to using just Viaccess 1 encryption and the picture becomes viewable.
Do I need to have a special time setting in my receiver.
No you don't. With the current software TPS should work with any time setting (e.g. GMT +1, +2, +3, -1, -2, -3, etc)
I still cannot decrypt TPS
1. If you are using HDFSmart or HTT Humax Turbo Suite, ensure that the file "firmwaredatabase.xml" ON YOUR COMPUTER is updated to the latest version before attempting a TOH update. The latest version (included in the same zip file as the ToH) is dated 19 Mar 2008. If Windows Explorer shows a file with an earlier date, look for an update.
2. Check that your ToH is up-to-date (Menu / ToH / HoT).
3. Switch to a free-to-air channel (e.g. Multivision Preview) and check that you can see a picture. If you cannot, your Antenna settings may be wrong in your Channel Set-up. Not all channel sets use the same order for the Antenna numbering. The Antenna numbers for Astra and Hotbird may need reversing.
4. Check to see whether any keys are present in the Ram Editor for Viaccess Provider 007C00. Keys may sometimes be erased during a Channel Set update.
5. Check that CAID Preselect is set to Card + Emu.
6. Check that any third party CAM is removed from the Common Interface slots. AES key updates may not occur if such a Cam is left in place.
7. Ensure that your programmed Funcard, Goldcard, Silvercard (or similar) is inserted the correct way up in your in-built Irdeto Cam.
8. Check that your Channel Set has the correct frequencies etc. for your chosen channels.
I cannot decrypt any of the Premiere channels
1. Ensure your ToH is up to date
2. Switch to a free-to-air Premiere channel (e.g. Premiere Direkt Portal) and check that you can see a picture. If you cannot, your Antenna settings may be wrong in your Channel Set-up. Not all channel sets use the same order for the Antenna numbering. The Antenna numbers for Astra and Hotbird may need reversing.
3. Switch to an encrypted channel such as Premiere 1 and then press the Red Button on your remote. You should see a letter "N" in the the little square near the bottom of your screen. If you see another letter (such as "B") try updating your PMC Table to a newer version.
4. Check as to whether the keys in the Ram Editor for Provider 0501 are up-to-date. If not, you can manually update them or try using the Nagra auto-update feature in the "Config" menu. Set this to "On" and leave the receiver on an encrypted channel such as Premiere1. Switch it back to "Off" after use.
5. Check that you CAID Preselect in the "Config" menu is set to Card + Emu
6. If you load a new key file, check in the Ram Editor that the new keys are actually present. Failure to update keys can occur.
