Hey, does anyone know if you can unlock the Nokia 6280 on network 3g?

All the BB5 handsets can be unlocked via the service provider or via the Dejan Team. They have recently announced that they can unlock them.

But this would mean travelling abroad or sending the handset to them.

Three will only unlock these handsets after the contract has expired for £15, if you want it doing the price is £169 plus the £15.

Will a '3' pay as you go sim card work in the Nokia 6280 since its locked in the '3' network (I hope its not just locked to '3' contract sims?)

Yes a 3 pay as you go will work on a 3 contract phone as its on same network....
When phones are locked they are locked to the network....
