ART Cards

Hi
I am seriously thinking of purchasing a ART card to watch the footy,

Can anyone tell me if I purchase will work straight away by just popping it into the card slot of a patched Humax 5400? Or do i need to use a cam say a Matrix cam?

I have also heared runours that ART might not have the rights next year to premership footy and I have been told its worth only going for 6 months sub rather than 12 but I can't seem to find any for 6 months!!!

Buy a six month card if you're worried. Thats what I'll do at the start of next season or at least 'till I find out whats goin on.

I only have a MR cam, is anyone else using this cam to view ART? I have been told its not vary stable in terms of freezes, can anyone confirm? Many Thanks

ive also got a matrix reloaded 1.05 cam with a patched humax and was also wondering if an art card would work with this cam or have got to get a viacess cam

You will need a Viaccess Cam or receiver to activate the card

Not sure if once its activated that it will work in another cam
that supports Viaccess ?

Sorry to re confirm but are you saying it will not activate or work in a Matrix reloaded cam???

Hi

As far as I know it has to be activated in an original Viaccess
cam or receiver it will not activate in a multicam, Matrix
reloaded etc

But I don't know if once its activated whether it would then
work in a multicam

The answer really is buy a Viaccess cam

In my case, I got the ART card from our sponsor goldwafers.
On the order form there was a box, where you can select (tick), If you want to have the card pre-activated by the shop, it is a free service they offer. I took this option, as I do not have a red viaccess cam, as the card arrived it worked straight away on the Dragon46, TSM, Diablo. (thise cams all in combination with the humax5400).

I am not sure if it is a rumor, but it's been said here in the forum that ART lost the Premiership Right of broadcasting for the season 07/08, so I would just wait a month and go then for the SIX months subscription to get the rest of this season.

Hi all,

I recieved my ART card this morning and ithadn't been activated.

I tried my luck with my MR cam 1.180 and it activateed and working sweet.

hi guys, i brought a 12month art sports card in july this year, it started to go on and off, i would pull the card out and push it back in and it worked, then it finally stopped, i brought it from a well known sorce, sent it back, gess what it got lost in the post, my advice, these cards are crap leave these cards alone:mad: :mad: :mad:

Should have sent it special delivery you would have got

Had one for the past 2 years from GW no problems whatsoever, yes it does go off from time to time , but it also does the same in Dubai where it originates from.
Many enjoyable afternoons spent, thanks to ART

In DUBAI the games come up in ART Prime Sports and it could be that next season this will move over to that, all to do with politics within the Satellite Pay for view industry.

Been using art with mr 1.180 not only works great but choice of games is fab too...
