Either your power supply is faulty or channel settings have to be reloaded.

Not the power supply you want to download new channel list to your receiver.

My Humax has the dreaded 3 dots.I tried to download the latest channel list with Humbox 4.1,but when I switch on receiver the dots come on and in the Humbox it says waiting for conection, but still nothing happens even if I switch the box on and off. After about 30 seconds in the Humbox it says error something. Is it possible it could be the PSU that is dead?

Hi Connie
Check the following and try again

Your RS232c lead is properly plugged in.
You have the correct receiver selected (edit / options menu)
You have the correct Com Port selected (edit / options menu)

Turn your humax on and then switch it off with the switch at the back, start humbox or HNFsmart and click the send to humax,
when you get waiting for humax connection switch your humax back on with the switch at the back and the download should start
