redlight card

hi just got one o these free wi a cam purchase , its a 6 channel redlight card alledgedly , is there a channel it has to activate on as its just black on all the channels ive tried it on? anyone else had 1 o these and any problems gettin it to work? thanks for any advice in advance , regards, adamx.

I got 1 with the T-Rex I didn't have to do anything to get it to play but it used to take a bit of time to decode, the Redlight changed channel after 3months and it wouldn't decode the new 1s then the free x 's and Dream went after 6 or 7 months it was just aswell that it was a bonus.

this is a 6 month conax one and ususally once you have got it workin the 6 months counts down from then on but this wont do anything?

what equipment do you have ?
if you run emu with old dw's for these channels the card can't work .

ive got a echostar 3000ip and dragon cam which opens my conax digitalb card raul . should i leave the crd in for a while to see if it kicks in or is there a way to activate mate? cheers for reply, regards, adamx.

if the dragon emu is forcing old dw's for redlight channels your card
can simply not work as cw's are already decrypted .

either remove them or use another emu w/o them .

i see will it work in a joker cam i have raul with kamilz 1.17 f/ware in at all?

just remove redlight dw's from the emu and your dragon will be fine .

are you sure ? , because redlight is static very often and old
dw's drag along in lots of emus .

if you are sure and your other cnx card works fine , then the
card is not ok .
if you know anyone with a dreambox , he can help you figure
out whats wrong by starting a server/emu in a telnet session .

trouble is mate i dont . im usin compass version of 3.54 pred dated 10.11.06.
i dont no anyone with a dreambox who is local. ive recently brought a diablo but its very temperamental in my echostar so i dont know how to use it with card in it yet. i have experimented with various but it wont open anything. i think i need to switch something off and then something on if u get my meaning? its all trial and error in this game so il keep trying till i get colours mate. thanks a lot for your help and advice tho mate it has helped me to understand. regards, adamx.

By switching something of and on do you mean mains power ie uplug the the mains power as that helps as the card gets locked.Another Tip we used to use was to wet a finger and clean the chip as some times they get a bit dirty and the chip wont make a connection.
