I am trying to get F*x Sports @ 16E with my Humax 5400 and 80cm mesh dish with twin LNB. I can get one or two of the stronger channels @ 16E, but no luck at all with the sports channel. I am located in south Cheshire.

Wondering if anyone near me can get this channel with same dish? Or anyone report on dish size needed?

Thanks in advance

Fox Sports at 16E can be notoriously difficult to get as it's fairly weak transponder and,of course, the UK isn't the intended footprint area.
There were several pages about this on the old Satpimps forum
When you say "80cm mesh dish with twin LNB." do you mean that you have two LNBs mounted on the same dish?
If so, the one for 16E would need to be on the primary focus of the dish otherwise you stand little chance. Even then, the bigger the better

Kemo, I've managed to pull it in with 80cm steel/.2lnb - I'm a few miles from Crewe.

It's usually up and down a lot. Sometimes during the day I can't get a sniff, but come the evening it's usually pretty strong - 84% signal and the strength varies from 55-71% with no break up. It's been fine during the Ashes, even during moderate rain and cloud cover. It broke a little when a storm hit a couple of weeks back, but other than that it's been pretty solid. I've also had to do a little tweaking with the dish and lnb to nail the signal. A 1m+ dish would probably be better but the 80cm just needs a little coaxing to pull Fox Sports in :)
