For the xth time : the k3 has nothing to do with Viaccess. It handles only Seca2. It happens that some TPS channels also have a Seca2 ECM for the cable provider Numericable. This why the k3 can open some TPS channels. A change of the Viaccess code will not affect the k3, as long as the Seca2 ECMs are still transmited.

TPS are changing their system, this is why its clear at the moment, could be a day 2 days etc who knows, but wont be long.
I suspect that it wont be long before the K3 is counter acted by the providers so seca days could be numbered or more inevitable, the providers possibly thought that if at least the code was locked into a smartcard that cost money and took knowledge to program that might deter the majority and be better than nothing, but I think the K3 sales must be enormous, ive never seen such a frenzy.

Maybe this also has something to do with the merger with C**** FR? Anyone know what`s happening in France with regards original TPS subs etc, any card swaps to seca on the cards (so to speak)?
Presumably the idea is to have just one package in the long run, so although C**** Fr is compromised, it`s only on Diablo and k3, not every receiver known to man like tps.
