How does this receiver work then to clear TPS channels without needing updates for so long? Is it clearing TPS on seca2?

Does it also clear ppv multivision channels? If it does then i assume it's not seca2...sounds interesting anyway

c+ on hotbird does not have neither seca2 or 007c00 ecm's , only viaccess 022610 .

if it clears multivision it has to be tpscrypt , i haven't heard from anyone else
that these channels are clearing on viaccess apart from 007c00/tpscrypt .

Egyptdude can you confirm you are clearing C+ NL on an Echolink as I can't get zip here other than BBC Prime and MTV NL (TPS is fine though :-)

I think these mentioned receivers are going through that phase that the drake/other receivers were going through when they were clearing Cabo for a few months.....i don't think they do now :D

Isn't t*s still using the old aes key system, I've got a matrix reborn cam and m*ltivision clears for about a minute every 15 mins or so. When it scrambles again, change to abs*t and it stays on for about a minute then it scrambles, it's like they're linked in some way.

no they use plain via1 , which is and has been on all the time .
tpscrypt is an additional encryption which is switched off
every now and then while updates are being sent to original recievers .

you need an emu with latest tpscrypt algo and you need these
updates which are currently in a tps.bin form .

every seven minutes you can catch it for a few seconds :) , because
your cam has keys for the via1 provider 007c00 .
as mentioned above tpscrypt is OFF then .

APPOLGIES FOR FORMER ECOHLINK CONFIMATION
seems to me after furthur investigation that the box is not opening C+NL now ! however , ABsat Seca2 is working on both Hotbird and Astra (including Animaux channel) .

i had lot of confimations from various trusted sources 2 days ago that it (C+NL)works.
in addition all updates of the box , including yesterday's had this file (read me) included:-

Why update? They had support for 5108. Absat channels are still using 5108, not moved to 5104, so it should never have stopped working absat channels.

Unlike NL, despite the confirmed 100% working reports. :-)

I doubt that the nano 51 08 is currently implementing in the FTE softwares. The SECA2 provider 006A (ie. NL) seems to have some trouble with its DCWs encoder : that's all.
