The info sheet does not mention anything about handling 4:2:2....and I very much doubt it does. All manufacturers of the DVB-S2/MPG4 HD receivers currently on the market so far seems to have their heads up their [you know whats]!
Are they really SO very unaware of the HUGE demand for 4:2:2 colour sampling? It seems to me they are. As far as I understand it, it is NOT hardware limitations that hinder 4:2:2 coloursampling but rather the manufacturers thickheadedness!
The manufacturer Pace replied to a customer that their hardware most probably could handle the implementation but as they considered it a professional function (and of no interest to their DTH customers[!?]) they really had no interest of implementing it!

It's MPEG-2 only, so it will not get any DVB-S2 channels.
Not really worth much.

Not really worth much
I agree, missed the fact that it only dvb-s1/mpg2. This makes it basically useless as a HD receiver!

thanks for the help guys.
I already have a quali for the 422 feeds and wanted this for a backup. Saw it on **** so snapped it up for £83.00. Thinking i got a bargin.
I spent hours yeaterday attempting to find the hd channels .
For some reason it wouldnt lock or find half the channels.
Now i Know why.
I will be testing today if it can actually pick up any feeds.
Thanks

Inncorrect i'm afraid it has been announced that MPEG2 HD on euro1080 will shut down from 01/01/07 new year!.
yep Zippers right
Euro1080 is to adopt the MPEG-4 compression standard across all of its broadcast channels. The exception will be the Astra feed of HD1 at 23.5 degrees East, which will maintain a signal in MPEG-2 while Euro1080 promotes discounted MPEG-4 boxes to its subscribers.
The HD1, HD2, HD5 and EXQI culture channels will otherwise be available only in MPEG-4.The move is a U-turn from the company's previously stated policy of maintaining an MPEG-2 signal through until 2008. In August 2005 Euro1080 became the first channel in the world to broadcast using the MPEG-4 standard. However, the broadcaster acknowledges that the quality of those early broadcasts was not up to the mark. It now says that the quality of MPEG-2 is actually better than that of MPEG-2 HD.
