Don't be tempted to accept the upgrade offer given when you are ready to renew your contract....Haggle!!
I was ready for renewal, so looked at the Nokia 6233 on the web, was offered as an upgrade for £60 and new 18 month contract for £20/month.
Visited the shop and was offered the phone for £20.......then for free with the £20/month contract. Only then did I notice in their brochure that anyone walking in from the street could get the phone for free AND £5 discount on the £20/month contract. Well......I asked for the same deal and was flatly denied it, so walked out in disgust, telling them that after being with T-Mobile for over 10 years, I would be going elsewhere!
Shortly after, I got a call requesting I come back into the shop for the better deal.
Don't these people want to retain customers or what?
Are they just looking to exploit loyalty?
