Hi,
I am new to the relook having bought the 400s after my dreambox died.
Ok, I have the highland 2.12b image loaded with a 160gb seagate hard drive.
I use and watch stuff on sirius ok using camd3, and then seen yesterday that premiere was clear, so swung the dish around to astra 19 east and loaded in the premier channels along with digital+, loaded the new camd3 keys and all seemed ok.
Then the machine started to lock up all the time, i had to reboot the machine every time i wanted to change the channel over, it totally freezes. Has anyone came across this before, and can it be recified.
As a temporary measure, I have put the dish back onto sirius 5 east, deleted the new camd3 keys and loaded back in the old keys.
Can anyone solve this mystery?
On another point, I have a 160gb seagate hard drive installed with maybe 35gb used with recorded films.
After a reboot, it takes about 10 minutes preparing the hard drive, is this normal to take so long to bootup.
Thank you for your support in these matters.
Best regards, glyndwr
