Have you set the time during the setup process when you first powered up?

I think you need to set the time and then when on standby, you will get the word "Standby" and the time.

This receiver is supposed to have a display at all times once you have set the clock and time offset. IE: GMT + 1 hour. if in British Summer time.

mine sometimes disappears - and when it does am left with a red light - but it does come back if wait long enough 9too logn actually) so I simply switch the rec off at the back and on again - sometimes more than once...and then it works...doesnt seem to after the overall function of the rec e.g. reception etc...maybe something for Humax to investigate? It hasnt happened to v08 (yet?) though :)
