hi

i am tring to add a new sat on my system the 4 w one

for some reason i can scan the transponders but it does not find any stations ?

i have a x tream box and a dragon cam motorised dish

i can get still get pictures on thor and all the normal ones so i think my dish hasnot moved

any ideas

Where are you located and what size dish do you have?
Also some channels are in Videoguard plus the footprint is very tight.

My strongest fta transponder on Amos2 is 10723H, 27500, 3/4. No chance of anything from Amos1 where I am.
As mentioned by fernandez, depends upon where you are and what size dish you have.
With 5 degrees west being adjacent you might get some pick up from there which could muddy the field.

its a 1 m dish and i am in the north west, wigan

its been a very long time since i have messed with my set up and didnt think i could be out of range.

it is only for the footy on saturdays but missed the last few of them, may be i should have spent some cash on a art card

For your location, according to most charts, a dish size of 1.35M would be needed

I am not far away from you and can get megasport (4 west ) on my triax v1.1 dish with 0.3 invacom lnb and tm1500 or samsung 9500
