Transponder scanning

Hi everone,
I just cannot get the footie. The portal comes up ok, but my handset does nothing but change channels. I looked at all the service channels and found a lot of good films but no football.
I was advised to scan the Prem transponder for new channels but how? the manual is quite vague. I am very new to this and any help would be gratefully received.

I have a Triax DVB 63S/65S 13/19e

not all receivers can work with the portal system , either it works or it doesnt

and on some receivers you can input the pids manually and save them , getting the required channels

in your case it may be that you cannot get these channels becasue you cannot scan for them , you cannot use the portal and you cannot input the pids manually

in which case the answer is to get a suitably compliant receiver like say the technomate 1500ci or similar

ps:- it should be noted that the premiere system has never been one where you can scan for channels and save the results , whereas the others are like that , hence the confusion over premiere
