Hi Guys
Please dont flame me for this one LOL
Ive been a loyal devotee of satpimps & now satpimps for years on the satelite scene but Mobile phone unlocking isnt my thing..
Ive just upgradeded my phone and I was hoping to give my old T630 Sony Ericsson to my daughter, but unfortunately the phone is network locked to vodafone and her sim card is O2. When I put her sim card in, it says wrong sim card inserted.
I have found lots of information on unlocking this phone, for example
if I press *#06# it tells me what my IMEI number is
if I press <**< then it says personalized with MNC2 and then shows Network (and a padlock symbol) which apparently means it is locked on that network
But if I press select then is says Unlock(Net)5 NCK:
and I have the option to enter the unlock code..
I know my IMEI number, how do I calculate the unlock code? there are plenty of online services offering to do it for a fee.. So Im thinking that there must be a program or calculator available that calculates the code!
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated..
Regards
Buster
