Natura Gone?

Hi Guys! I had parked my dish on this channel for a long time. Was,nt surprised when I lost it this morning as I had heard that it was moving to another satellite with different encryption system. TBH, I am missing it already.
Does any one know if we can still get it?. I can go up to 45W. If not, then is there another Natue/Wildlife channel open so that I could fill this slot.

this and all mediapark channels have moved to pas6b/3r at 43w
and are now testing on this sat. i dont know if or what they are
encrypted in.

Yup!.....Found the same this morning.....no 'Natura' - which is a bit of a blow and for those who watch it......Dark/c****18 is probably a casualty as well.

As this is part of the MediaPark package it probably means that the post I put up a while back about MP moving sat (43'W) and switching to Irdeto 3 on 1st Jan has turned out to be correct info.

Wish I'd been wrong though!

Non of the Media/Tueve channels are viewable at 30W at the moment, seems no pids audio/video streams are avaliable anymore!

Natura and the other channel of Mediapark are now on PAS3R in 43ºW.
freq. 12658V and S/R 28665 FTA without any encryption, this will change soon, I have read somewhere that they will use Viacces 2.5 but i am not sure.

The first time I´ve heard that they will be using Viaccess, so far, only Irdeto has been mentioned as a future encryption on 43.1W.
Anyway, seems they has now evacuated 30W (more or less) and it is very likey that they will encrypt the channels on 43.1W any day now.

Confirm that the package is FTA at the moment, coming up on the Humax with network name of Harmonic.

All TV Channels from Media Park working good on the Panamsat 43degrees west, they are still > FTA < the Hispasat is history.

Yes works fine for me on 43 eeast Technomate tms1500 80cm dish inverto .5 twin.
But these channels are still being broadcast on hispasat it still shows srambled channel on my box plus nagravision, mabe a key change.:cool:

Got it.... just.....only 2 or 3 degrees of West movement left on the dish!

Signal strength low though.....only about 55&#37; (1m dish) - which means a few drops of rain and it'll be gone.

TP is the one given above (a few posts up), and yes its clear at present.

Out of interest, what sort of signal strength are the rest of you getting on what size dishes ??

Just possible that having my dish this far over is 'amplifying' a small alignment error.

I get 77% on a 1M dish in Midlands UK.

43W has always been very strong here.

The previous rumors have shown to be real. Spanish pay-tv package TEUVE (formerly known as Mediapark) has appeared on PAS-3R at 43&#176;W (12659 V, 22789, 2/3). Although all channels are currently broadcast free-to-air, Irdeto 2 encryption is expected. This probably means the end of C**** 18, CTK, Buzz, MGM or Showtime Extreme viewing for the most of us since Teuve will leave Hispasat where it's currently using Nagravision encryption. Teuve is not a part of Digital+ and is available in Spanish cable/IPTV networks only.

Interesting......might need a slight tweak on my dish to see if I can coax another 10 or 15% out of it.

Does your STB show a signal quality scale as well?......on my TM it's reading (at best) only 20% (normally 70 or 80% on other sats) - although the picture is actually quite reasonable.

Surprised I'm seeing anything with that sort of figure!!

Anyway, it'll all be academic once the encryption gets switched on.

Yesterday I tried to get the signals from PAS3 with my 60cm dish that normally points to Hispasat and had no luck. I'm in southern Spain about an hour from Gibraltar. The online calculators I have found tell me I need a minimum of 80cm but I don't want to replace the dish unless I'm sure I'll have enough signal. The LNB is a 0.3 quad. Anyone else in southern Spain using an 80cm dish with good results?

I wouldn't bother changing the dish mate . They're (supposedly) changing the encryption to Irdeto shortly .
