Changing APID and VPID

I was trying to change APID and VPID of a particular channel but when I pressed exit the old ones came up again. I was doing this thing by using remote through the EPG menu. Is it possible that they cannot be changed using remote but only through a pmc editor or am I doing something wrong?

If the Serv-ID of this channel is the correct one in your box,you can't change these pids.
In the case you are sure you have to change them,you can first change the correct Serv-ID,giving a false one,like 0 (zero),and then you can do anything you want,but remember,when you are done with all changes, press first OK button and then the EXIT button.

You can change Apid and Vpid but you have to create a PMC
entry for that channel and set the Autopid to off

I managed to make an advanced search with the new pids and I got it right.
