settings and motor question

hi on my humax im using the modified pet settings but when i select 30west my dish moves all the way to the left as far as it goes and locks then i have to reset it,it sounds like a conflict between the settings in the motor and the settings in the humax does anyone know the best settings,the motor is superjack which works ok on my lemon reciever.any suggestions please? regards

;) You normally set the limits in the motorised setup menu. Usually 5° less than the physical limits set by the micro switches in your motor. So if you want the dish to have a range of 42E to 43W you should set your limits to 47E and 50W in your box and adjust the microswitches to give you 52E to 55W as long as this does not allow the dish to clatter into some hard object!!:eek:
