receiver comes up with the messge wrong ci cam for this channel, with picture still going ok in the background
but with non hd prem channs works fine ?

What made you go for this box over the Humax?

I've got one of those, I didn't know the XE had a working CI slot, i thought that was only the bigger 810 model, isn't the XE the cutdown or "lite" version?

I've got both of these receivers because they came for free of a mate, but still don't understand what I can get for free in terms of movie channels with these boxes nor how?

In contrast to the humax, the pace I think at least looks better and goes almost perfectly with my sammy r74 tv

I think it looks better than the Humax, but didn't see enough support to justify the purchase.
@ codex the only way you'll get HD movies with out a sub, is PW HD, which you can get via Diablo or T-rex 4.6 CAMS (some cards too but I never even look at these).

What about standard def stuff mate?

Do you need a separate cam and how much would all this gear cost?

You would still need a cam for SD stuff too. I've got both cams mentioned above, I know the diablo is quite fussy about which receivers it will work in, so I would check compatability before paying out any money. The T-REX 4.6 is, I think, the better cam. Have you got a programmer? You will need one if you don't and they vary in price, the best one being the CAS 3 for around £50. Then the cams Diablo is about £50-60 and T-Rex is £90-100. These are only really any good if you have a dish that points / can point to Astra 19.2 East, as that's where the main packages (opened) are at the moment. Hope this helps.

from a well known auction site which i cant mention on here, it comes with scart cable and hdmi cable, the first thing you have to do is update software via astra, i think its somthing like v1.18, then you can use with a dragon cam,

Is the PACE compatible with both T-REX and Diablo (or just the former)?

Cheers

Hi Guys,

Once more question. Does it decode 4.2.2. feeds ? I know the humax doesn't, and the Quali does (although the Quali can't handle MPEG4).

GAH
