I have a vn8000cis with 2.02 s/w, I cannot recieve any of the mtv channels i.e VHI or classics for longer than 15 secs anyone got any suggestions.

I think you will have to downgrade to 1.71 or 1.70 to get these working does like premere I could be wrong here all so:) .

so what was the benfit of 2.02 then anyone know

There were problems connecting to the main European server, so 2.01 came out, and then 2.02 to allow connection to 33FF.

it takes long to connect to the server
