View Full Version : Two decoders to one dish problem.

My father-in-law has a decoder downstairs and another upstairs, both connected to a dual LNB on an 80cm dish. If he turns the decoder downstairs off he longer gets anything upstairs, if he turns the downstairs back on he can see channels again. What is this problem, can anyone help.

Can you get to the twin LNB and swop the two F cables over and then see if the problem also has swopped over.

You would get that problem with a Loop through but you say its a twin LMB.

i had a similar problem.

what receivers are they!?

:confused: Make sure that power to the LNB is only swtched on in one of the receivers.
