dreambox500 & total tv

Can serbian package total tv card work in this receiver because there official receiver is really naff and it doesnt have facility for motor operation.
plus its in nds .
i herd this machine can be modified ,i never owned one so am very new to this section .

u can use newcs to read the card fine. Enter the cardserial and box serial on newcs.xml and set to 6.00mhz read

cheers for quick reply. I didnt wont to buy there box just the card but I do know that card and box are "married".
So the card would work on this machine thats all I need to know.

yes it will. i have mates who have it working fine on their dreambox. 100% OK

it dont work with gbox on its own. the card will init fail when reading with pure gbox ( any version ). U must use gbox in conjunction with cs2gbox with newcs and then it will read it for use in gbox

hello gov400 i have this cs2gbox in my var/keys ive got db500s useing only gbox 2.1b can i remove from list and what is it for thanks

its only if ure using cs2gbox mate which i think ure not. All u need in var keys is:

ignore.list
gbox_Cfg
ignore.list
ident.info
nds ( if u need it)

Nothing else is required
