Solution needed - moving my Humax

Guys

I need suggestions fro the following: -

My missus wants to move our one and only PC to another room (on another floor in the house).

At the moment, I use my PC together with my 8m null-modem cable to update/upload stuff to my humax. I also use it for that card sharing.:rolleyes:

I really don't fancy having a 30+ metre cable traipsing up the stairs so does anyone have any suggestions?

Isn't the best solution to give misses a ''special'' hug and persuade her that the PC is on the right place ?!?!.....;)

I was only kidding in my previous post!
I have never heard of a propperly working null-modem cable over 15 meters and I think you wouldn't like running up and down from PC to Humax to complete and check every downloaded file.
So,maybe my first idea was better,indeed?
I hope you 'll have more ideas from other members,too.
