i dont get one thing :S hows can people confirm pw au if they didnt chage keys? only explanation i can think is if u enter invalid keys and then it gets them automatically ? is that how u confirm ?

i tried original firmware first. then patched it all keys at 0000
and wait for about 20 secs

pw about the same time :)

This is a new whole firmware,you have to tick them all,not just module 5,fellas!The best thing to do,is update HDFSmart's firmwaredatabase first and then you'll get them all automatically ticked and you can be sure that it is the original ToH firmware you've got,not a fake one!

i was also going to say, providing its a pukka toh/hot then tick all the boxs, as you never know what else they have changed ie the catone,(not in this case but you never know)

Yes you can go straight to HOT 8.0. HU15 is o.k to use. Remeber to also use latest pmct and key.bin. You'll need dsr emu56 for loading key.bin. Check tools section

Nice, I already had the new keys for d+ but deleted them to test the AU out - it took a couple of minutes to kick in then, but all is fine and it did indeed AU.

or in my case, go to a xx channel, this kicked it in after basically running through all my list of tricks to get it to work, don't ask me why, it just did, i tried everything from leaving it on a channel for 12 hrs, to reloading the patch, and this was the only way

hope someone can help me , i have upgraded to hot 8 all ok , then uploaded new table , all seemed ok , then used 9500 5.6 to upload keys , i havent used version 5.6 before so set it to humax default , also set com port ok and set it to not check firmware and verify keys , set humax to free channel and send keys , when i look in menu hot ram editor there are no keys just FFFF and all ooooooooo tried a few differnt things but all the same , can anyone help ?? hope so , thanks :)

@antmarco,
its best these days to use hdfsmart, as with the constant updates you can be fairly sure that the patch will be original, its only the tps hdf that throws up a query, and with this,if you are happy with the source then accept it.
and to be quite honest, i try not to use pcm's as it seems as if these are used as the fix more often than not to try to clear a channel, and it could quite likely be something else, and you go barking up the wrong tree.

@fusion1296,
you say you have set it to verify, unless i am miss reading your post, and if so , it is advised to switch verify back on, as this is the immediate guide to see if the bin has actually gone in.

if you still get no keys, then if you use the channel settings files, i would suggest to reload these, as this resets things so that you can reload the bin, also once the bin is in, switch the humax off by the remote then restart with the button on the front, to set the keys

Ive installed Hot8 on my humax 5400 hoping I could get TPS and D+ AU but I got bad signal this was sorted by loading new channel setting but I still get no TPS or D+ is there anything else I should do.

i will reload the channel settingss as i think the ram bit could be corrupt , i have it set to verify but it says that there are bytes missing ?? think thats what it says , never had a problem with keys before so hopefully a reset will help , thanks for your help will let you knwo how i get on .

this will seem a strange quetion , the RCL button is it a button on its own on the remote or is it one of the coloured buttons ?? the reason i ask is cos i dont have the original remote , only a multi remote and it hasnt got a RCL button on it .
