Humax HD sound probs

HI all
not been of for months
i wondereed if anyone else has this problem
if i connect the HDMI cable from humax HDCI2000 to my JVC 26" lcd the sound is garbage it stutters for about 2 secs then there is none it may come back a while later but only for a scond or two but will again be jittery

if i connect via the rgb and phonos it is perfect , but this looks a chuff with 5 big fat phonos

is there anyone else like this or is there an upgrade to sort it out?????

check ur cable mate...i've got hummi like yours, and mine is also coonected via hdmi cable 2 a samsung lcd, and it's fine....the other thing that might be a problem is the hdmi input on ur tv...but think is ur hdmi cable...get a good one mate it's worth it...

...sorry Mate I Just Remembered...u Also Have 2 Check Ur Tv If Its Hdcp Compliant..that Could Also Be The Problem...

It's a big problem with this receiver and some televisions.

The latest firmware (1.08) does improve things, but is not perfect.

I get this strange intermittent sound ONLY when adds are on and ONLY on a few channels!!!

as i have not used the receiver for ages i guess i have older firmware
any ideas where i can find the newer updated firmware
and please can you remind me how to install it .Please!!!!

I have been on the Humax site, and only 1.00.7 software is there not the 1.00.8
There has been a release for the HDCI2000T today, but this won't go in mine, comes up with error, so back to 1.00.7 for me.

Not heard of that receiever, but I guess that the 'T' means terrestrial? :confused:
