5400z

Hi gents

I got my 5400z back and i tried to install new TOH 7.9 or TOH8 and i got every time the error :E-ID during uploading soft.Can somebody help me.

E-Id Invalid system ID This error can be occured when you attempt to download F1 software to F1-CI. Pls check the STB model and the software

what software are you using to upload the file, have you selected you correct stb

My stb is an HUMAXirci-5400Z.I used HU1.5 and the last TOH7.9 z-plus soft.

ok do you have a 5400z+ or just a 5400z?
if your using a 5400z use the firmware i have posted in the firmware section and use hnfsmart to upload it
if you have a 5400z+ you will have to use a +builder software to change the software to the corect version for the stb then upload.

please confirm what you have if you are unsure as the wrong firmware can dammage your stb

Many thanks,i have a humax IRCI-5400z (nothing elese written on it).I cannot find the firmware. (where do you post the firmware ;in which section?

hi there ok all you need to do is download the firmware (its in the humax toh section)

download hdfsmart (humax tools section)

install ndfsmart then unpack the hot file and install.
