Dream500s-Vcr Question ?

Can someone tell me can you connect dreambox 500s to a video recorder as i would like to be able to record some programmes.
any help be obliged.

Not sure what outputs on 500 but if you have 2 Scarts use the non
TV out from 500 to VCR in. If TV out only on 500 put scart lead to
VCR in. VCR out to TV. Select correct video in channel to record. IE
A1- A2 or L1 -L2. In general the 1 is out\in. 2 is video in.

Just to add on the back there are three phono sockets one video and two audio output as well as the scart.

Hi there lads thanks for your replies.
on the dreambox 500s there is 1 scart socket also there is 1 video phono 2 audio phono 1/L 1/R .
the video recorder has 2 scart sockets ext 1/tv and ext 2 /aux it also has 1/video phono 2/audio phono L R.
so do i take either the scart or phono leads from dreambox place them into the back of the video recorder and then another scart from video to tv then tune.

There is another way as well if your VCR has RF in and out.No need to tune if using scart but if you go the RF route just incase you may want to cable the 500s and other bits of kit to another TV then you may have tune the VCR and TV and/or TV's.

Glad you are sorted. Was going to add you can get scart to phono adapter. Phono out is all you need ie, Vid & Audio or scart not both.

May be wrong Slap but dont think 500 has modulator. 7020 has.
