I'm hoping Nova will show it. Up until the last 2 weeks of Englands Aussie tour I wasn't really bothered about watching it but seen as how England whipped The Aussies 3 times on the trot it may be worth watching The World Cup now. I hope Nova show it but I have my doubts.

Surely being the WC there will be some more providers showing it as it affects quite a number of countries??

probably foxsportsme on

i think supersport nova will have it. Cos on the ICC website it says that Multichoice DSTv has subliscences meaning that it will pass on the rights to supersports nova hopefully. And i doubt a provider like nova who showed the ashes would pass up the Cricket World Cup.

Euro providers showing the ICC world cup are:
BBC ( Highlights )
Roopies Bslyb ( Live Video )
Fox Sports International ( Live Video )
ARY Digital ( Live Video )

johnt

so there's a chance of being able to watch it then cool!

The only thing about that is there were adverts on Supersort Nova for the 1 day matches in Australia but none of them were shown. They were shown on the Multichoice version. They also advertised South Africa test series on Nova and this wasn't shown either on Supersport. So I have my fingers crossed there gonna show the world cup on Nova.

the aussies are in a spot of bother ahead of the wc2007.
with injuries and loss of form
going down 3-0 to all blacks

crabber
21-02-2007, 02:10 AM
Yes they have lost 6 from 7 now with 3 to England, can you imagine how I feel now having copped abuse here in Australia since November? and it has all happened since their coach complained they weren't being tested enough. :D

Let the odds on the Aussies winning the cup go up and up. My money is on them.

brett lee is ruled out, stuart clarke replaces him in the squad.

a blow for aus as lee is a useful lower order batsman.

The daily program listings for the Supersport channels on Nova are out for next tue/wed = NO CRICKET! :frown:

If they are not showing the openining game with the hosts v Pakistan, then they won't broadcast any of it, i reckon.

i am watching live inside edge now on SS2 and they just listed the whole shchdule (mostly SS2, some on SS5 and SS7) for all the games, not sure which listing you are looking at

Dice Man
07-03-2007, 02:21 AM
Yes, I should have stated this concerns Nova on 13 deg east. I would have been happy to be wrong. :)

I suppose it was somewhat of an abberation, the Greeks showing the Ashes in the first place.

bonovox
07-03-2007, 03:45 AM
No they do show quite a bit of Cricket. They showed last summers test series between England v Pakistan, as well as the Ashes this Winter. I just think that its B****eB and Fox Sports that have sole European rights for the World Cup both owned by News International or Corporation or whatever it is. Either way its owned by Mr Monopoly!

ARY Digital on Astra 19.2 also confirmed to be broadcasting it. This opens on my Visionnet, although SS7 on Nova doesn't at the minute.

Incidentally, with ARY Digital i get a "freezing" effect, like it's a weak signal or something, on my Visionnet. The signal is very strong though.

It may just be an issue with this receiver, buf if not, is it possible to get it off?

bonovox

Did Fox change something lately? I had a look on the official Fox schedule, and it also says Australia-Netherlands.
