View Full Version : Any opinion on the Toshiba 42WLT66 - Freeview Digital LCD TV?

I can get one for £1100 brand new with stand, It looks Full HD ready.
Any opinions / experiences?

I am looking at this one too mate, it's upscales to 1080 not full HD, I get mixed up between the i's and p's. It's £922 at dixons on line plus a little extra discount, check out pricerunner:cool: :cool:

According to the Toshiba web information this is full hd ready the only tv set that they do that is. Thinking of getting one myself.:)

I think that it is a very fine set.
as with all lcd and plasma sets, just make that the brightness and contrast settings are properly calibrated. and it produces very good results.

Thanks guys, im going to take a run out and look at it in a showroom in sheffield. Best way to compare it against some other sets, i'll post my thoughts when i get back.

toshiba had the best rating on lcd 2 years back
:) The Toshiba 42WLT66 is really good with my Toshiba hd dvd player very happy with mine. :)

If i was you i would skip it for the PX70 Panasonic range which comes for the same price more or less. Its a plasma so no ghosting/blurring and blacks are black ;)

But is this range 1080i/p ?
Theres a big difference between 1080 and 720 in my opinion.
